Lou Gehrig question.

It’s late in the year and everyone has a lot of stubs at this point. I’m sitting in 2.4 million and wanting some new players. Is Gehrig really worth 1 million? Also what are the chances on him coming down in price? Which players do you think are necessary. Eric Davis and Cody have bad contact vs one side. I’ve never used them but I’m assuming they’re not great for the price. The cards that I really have been surprised by lately are Finest Javier Baez (maybe the best home run celebration),George Brett, Finest Rendon and Post season Stanton. I need new players, who do you recommend..also I need to know about Gehrig

Not much chance his price drops. With all the orders in for him and fewer people playing the game this time of year he should stay at a million. Most likely will always be at least 100 buy orders in on him. Many people have millions of stubs with collections done so not much reason to sell him.

Yeah. I don’t mind spending 1 million now if he’s really good. I think Babe Ruth will come soon though and I’d probably play him at first,

He'll be under a million fairly soon. He was around 250 orders a few days ago, and now he's down to 128. I was going to post this about an hour ago, and he was at 136 then. The orders are going through fast on him and once he drops under, Wagner will start flying. Not sure where he will wind up, but a mil ain't it.

The market says he is.
FYI. I didn't put my order in until Thursday or so and just got him 5 minutes ago.

26 more orders if Gehrig at 1 million. After that then what? Will there be more available and hopefully cheaper?

Gehrig's million stub orders should be depleted in the next few hours. I would expect at that point for Wagner's million stub orders to start moving, and probably be depleted in the next 5 or 6 days. You might be able to snap up Gehrig for less than a million before then, but if you wait who knows. Definitely cheaper, maybe a lot cheaper.

Yeah, it didn't even take a few hours. Curious to see what he and Wagner wind up at. Should give a good idea of any future ws rewards value.

True, I put a buy order in for 500k. I doubt I’ll get him for that but it’s worth a try.

I am just one player but here is my experience. I make WS every season and sometimes grind to get the 30 or 40 wins WS pack as well. I haven't played the game in three days. I don't see myself playing enough to make WS this season and probably from here on out. I got Gehrig for 1mil like a week ago and used him in a handful of events games when the Yankees were still in it. I usually play this game until the real life world series is over but I'm played out. All the issues on the forum about servers being down and freeze offs and youtubers saying the hitting and pitching is messed up I just don't have time in the day to deal with that. So yes I think there will be a lot less WS rewards unlocked and some from here on out. If it stays this way the WS crowd will not sell the rewards which will make them 1mil for the remainder of the games cycle.
