I have a small sample size with him. He’s something like 6-8 with a 5.00 era. The other dudes in my rotation have a 4.00 or lower. I was thinking of selling him and getting Billy Wagner.
Thanks. I have Cole, deGrom, Feller, and Kluber who I like. Haven't used Kershaw for a while but may also put him back in, just felt people had learned his pitches by now. I also have Bumgarner and Fergie Jenkins. Any suggestions of a high level pitcher besides Sale.
I’d recommend SS Oswalt. He’s much tougher to hit than his attributes would lead you to believe, thanks to his fantastic repertoire. Plus he’s dirt cheap.

I wondered about him. I used his 89 early on and didn't mind it back then and have found myself hover over buying his 95 card. I like using guys you rarely see ir don't hear enough about.

I love using him. You might as well try him out since he’s so cheap. I know skepple can vouch for him too.

How many innings? 14 games is a pretty good sample size for a SP IMO
103 innings

Very easy to hit, had almost a double digit ERA for myself as well... Definitely better options out there.
-
I've faced him on HOF and Legend most recently, and he is pretty easy to pick up.
-
I lick my chops when i see him
-
I've only seen him 3-4 times, and I don't know if my opponents were just really good pitchers, but I found him tough. He's got a great slider/cutter combo and throws hard.

Does anyone have the same opinion that Kershaw has become easier to pick up since he has been seen and used a lot since the beginning? I don't get worried when I see him and that's the main reason I was looking for a different 5th.
Definitely. I even sat him. Considering I had a sub-2 ERA for a long time with him, for him to be approaching 3 means he's been getting shelled. My theory is, in addition to players seeing him often, he's easy for righties to hit. His two best pitches are his curve and slider, both of which become easier to hit with righties. With the number of people running lineups featuring Thomas, Bregman, Mays, Trout, Hornsby, and the like he's become merely good not dominant.
