Not a fan of new pitching rotation rule anymore

Last years game was no different apart from bringing them out of the pen. Out of the 10 games you played, Kershaw would appear at least 6 times in ranked seasons.

Some changes I'd make personally: SP energy takes longer to regenerate & don't allow a SP to come in relief until all RP/CP have been used.
I brought in Oswalt behind Sale because I had tough luck yesterday, and I wasn't going to let a W slip by me.

The problem I have with not being able to use them unless all of your RP/CP are used, what happens when you used a reliever the game before and he's absolutely gassed? Then you'd be throwing a gassed reliever to the slaughter. I absolutely agree that there should be some sort of limit, but I don't believe that this is the way to do it.

Just make starters burn 2x energy when used as a reliever. Maybe even lock in your rotation every 5 games.
Make it punitive to keep using them from the pen. Make control and velocity dip massively when into the yellow.

I think a lot of the problem has to do with the fact that most people don't have enough cards that can realistically match up to Kluber or Hal. Unless you've collected the entire MLB, chances are you don't have many endgame hitters on your roster. Once more and more cards get released, I think we'll stop seeing this strategy being utilized, or at least it will be reduced

Two things need to be done.
-
Starters should only come out of the pen of either...
A. An Opener was used
B. Bullpen has been exhausted.
If option A is used, the starter chosen is locked in until option B happens. -
Stamina needs to regenerate slower (3 games for 80% regeneration) and include a penalty for using starters who are less than 75%.

Or... maybe if people stopped quitting before the 3rd inning it’d work just fine. I’m 20-1 and I’m not sure I’ve had to finish more than 2 games all the way through. To this point I haven’t even needed a 3rd pitcher except that I wanted to use Ohtani so I took a break from the Oswalt & Kluber pattern

This is true. Too many quitters out there make it really easy to rejuvenate arms. I’m 22-2 in RS and rarely go the distance.
But that’s because hitting is too easy. So when someone goes up 4-0, 5-0, in the first two innings, people quit.
And hitting is too easy for one reason: the umpires do not call every pitch that touches the black a strike. It’s been a problem for years.
They need to program the umpires to call balls and strikes as it is written in the rule book: if any part of the ball touches any part of the zone, it’s a strike.
I know they don’t call half the pitches on the black for strikes. So why swing? There is no need to protect the plate. Sit back, wait for your pitch and, bam! Base hit.
Pitchers are nothing but BBQ chicken in this game. I don’t care who you throw out there. I’m eating.

You also ha e to take into account that people swing at a lot more pitches than real baseball. I've had games where I only throw 60 pitches through 9 innings. That would never happen in real baseball. Plus people quitting

I like the new system!
