Pudge has great contact, good power, speed and elite defense. What else could you want in a catcher?
A good swing and switch ability.

Not to get in a pissing match, but I also included "switch hitting" which Pudge clearly is not.
Right, I just took it as you saying there were no 5-tool switch hitters, but pudge as a righty was one.
Either way, Adley is a beast.

Posey is the only catcher missing other than that what are you talking about ? We have the best versions of alot of guys ever. Grandal , schwarber, adley to name a few

Not a waste at all. Look at all the good feedback and interaction you got with this post. There were probably some people looking for catchers and this thread will be valuable. remember that some people are just getting the game everyday.

Not a waste at all. Look at all the good feedback and interaction you got with this post. There were probably some people looking for catchers and this thread will be valuable. remember that some people are just getting the game everyday.

Never a waste... especially if all the dialogue helped you... I wanted to toss a new name in the mix (sorry if he was mentioned above) but Future Stars Keibert Ruiz from the R.I.B program absolutely rakes. He seems to hit everything hard and is a switch hitter

However, he's a Topps Now guy so he'll continue to get overlooked...

Love Grandal as well. I love switch hitting catchers. His speed holds him back a bit, but he is an elite catching card.

Lol they released all the top catchers. If you can’t hit with them, that’s a YOU problem
