Can I get back to 2-Way in Majors?

Jo, I decided to only focus on pitching somewhere in AAA. It has become a little boring since.

So I wondered... there are these random oppurtinities that give you the option to also hit as a pitcher.

Do these happen in MLB as well? Or only AA and AAA?

In NL, pitchers also bat. In AL, they don't.

Ah, 2-way... Not sure how that works. I was playing 2B for a few years, and they kept asking me a few times a year if I wanted to also pitch, and I was saying no, until I made a mistake, and now I'm 2-way, and they don't ask me again if I want to stop pitching.
