I just cannot beat the showdown for any FOTF player so I was considering playing MTO for the stars instead. Is there a tactic to grind these out faster? Would it be beneficial to say pick the Nationals, get to the all star break eval, get the stars and then restart a MTO with the nationals and go back to the all star break eval? Or does it make more sense to just finish the whole season? Im just thinking of a strategy to save time.

The best way to do it is just complete one regular season and win the World Series in the Playoffs on All-Star or higher. It's also most beneficial to win as much as you can, as you'll have to play lesser games and you'll be put in easier situations to keep the momentum up (like a tie game in the 6th compared to a 0-3 deficit in the 6th when your team is cold).

You get more points for the playoffs.....but they last a bit longer. Essentially its 5-15 for allstar break, 7-15 for postseason....fyi you win your division early it flies by end of season....won early September and it summed rest of season. World series is the big daddy in points while division and championship might equal earlier rewards. It's worth it, might have to do it twice depending on your diffuculty

It does take a few hours, they said 3 on stream but in my experience it takes longer. For reference, I won 115 games with San Diego and swept every team in the Playoffs on Hall of Fame so the momentum was maxed out all the time.

I'm working the Angels on Veteran and it s really easy thus far. I got 9 points for the 1st half and am leading the division in August. I already have 13 points from the 250 innings (conquest), the Moment, and the stat mission. If I end the MTO with 40 points I'll only need to do the exchange once...and that's I want out of this experience.

My son and I (read: mostly him lol) are averaging between us on AS difficulty. We have completed the Padres, Astros, Yankees, and Pirates so far. Almost done the Angels and may consider the Nationals for Soto once the Angels are done.

If you play a lot expect a two day run. 6 hrs for the regular season then another 6 for the playoffs. You might could do it a little faster than.

That sounds about how many hours I have into it doing the Astros for Correa then New York for Torres. 12 hours seems right for one run

I did the yanks on All-Star took about 5 1/2 hours to finish the season even tho we had a 30 game lead heading into September and clinched early I was still forced to play games after clinching so there is no fast way to do it, unless you skip the playoffs and Do the exchange and some team missions as i did.

How do you like Snell? Is he worth it?

I've done the As, Braves, Stros, I'm currently doing the Padres. After that I'm going to do the Nats.

Snell is 100 percent worth it. Especially with few cheap diamond starting pitcher this early on in the year. That Tatis jr. card is amazing, also haven’t tried Soto from the Nats Team Affinity, but everybody says he rakes

I did the Rangers on HOF, and am currently in the WS and it's taken me 12 hours but the experience has been quite enjoyable so I reccommend it if you play on a difficulty that's challenging enough to you where each game matters but not too hard that you have no shot at the playoffs.
