Hoping to do this offline and without showdown… doesn’t seem so?
Nope, not unless they add 35 more pts worth of moments/missions
The showdown is super easy! I mean SUPER, SUPER easy! Absolutely no funny business and you get to load up on big bats!
Haven't played since 1st inning program. Any advice on what hitters to load up on? ie. Righties or Lefties?

I believe you will be going against Schrezer for all of them so lefties would be my guess.

While I usually hate Showdown and avoid it, this one is just like the Showdown from TA3 and TA4, where it’s all mini-bosses and then the final Showdown. I actually enjoy these Showdowns, which I never thought I’d able to say about this mode.
And knowing that you are going against Mad Max in all of them seem to be pretty scary, but SDS wants everyone to get the card, so they made it where pretty much anyone will get it done.

I have finished every player program so far I won’t be for the is one if it involves showdown.

I think this is as easy as the beginners, maybe even easier! You might be surprised if you try it. Pick hitters with good contact and power vs righties and disregard positions.

This and don't forget to take all the exit velocity perks you can. This showdown was super easy.

Beat it was 8 outs to go, frustrated because o couldn't hit anything fair. The 99 overall Harper is amazing this year and i had him from the start, he had 3 game winning hits for me including a home run in the final showdown.

Him and Snider kept hitting bombs early for me and made all the challenges super easy.

Let's drop the Max Scherzer program!
Here's the program that requires 100 points (110 possible):
35 points for (super easy) Showdown:
Showdown has 3 mini bosses before final Mad Max. No blue missions and 500 stubs per entry (which you will get back!). Each mini boss awards 5 runs and you need 16 runs total to win the final showdown.First mini boss is Max Scherzer on the D-backs and only need 1 run with 12 outs. Second mini boss is Max Scherzer in Washington again 1 run needed , #9 spot starts at 3B, and only 5 outs. Third mini boss is Max in LA with needing 3 runs with 12 outs and #8 spot on 3B and #9 spot on 2B (first swing by Vladdy Daddy on the first pitch was all that was needed). Final showdown has 20 outs and should only need 1 run!. My final showdown lineup was:
99 Vladdy Daddy
99 (P3) Miggy
97 (P3 to 99) Juan Soto
99 Prince Fielder
99 Matt Kemp
90 (p1 to 91) Justin Turner
84 Kiebert Ruiz
80 Jake Lamb
82 Jeremy De La RosaMoments for 45 points (9 x 5 points):
#1: 4x IPs, 7x Ks, don't allow a run
#2: 3x IPs, 6x K's, don't allow 2 runs
#3: 3x IPs, 6x Ks, don't allow 2 runs
#4: 10x Ks
#5: 2x IPs, 4x Ks, don't allow a run
#6: 1x IP, 3x Ks, no H, no HBP, no BB
#7: 10x Ks, don't allow a run
#8: 5x IPs, 5x Ks, don't allow a run
#9: 6x KsMissions for 30 points (6 x 5 points / 4 offline and 2 online):
#1: 8x Ks w/ Rookie Max
#2: 1x win w/ Rookie Max
#3: online 10x Ks w/ AZ pitchers
#4: 10x Ks w/ AS Max
#5: 1x win with AS Max
#6: online 15x Ks w/ WAS pitchers99 Max attributes:

I'm SO bad at this game. 0-2 in my attempts. I hate Showdown with a passion. Failed in the 3rd round once and the final round once

Be patient at the plate. Wait for a pitch from the belt up. Work the counts and get some meatballs!

Is he really worth it? I have Ryan, Ray, Walter, Degrom, and Lefty in my main squad.

Of course that is a matter of opinion! If you don't want to do the program, just move on! People want this card for many different reasons, so it's worth it for them. Some people don't care about having the "meta" cards and would actually prefer having different cards in their rotation!
-
I was not happy when I saw the showdown requirement, but I have to say, it's no harder than completing a few momentsamd not much more time consuming. If you focus and make sure to use pinch runners with speed, this is incredibly easy. Some people did it in like 7-10 swings. I am not one of them. I lost to the 3rd boss, 3 times because I was pressing. But I beat it and finished the program. If I can do it, I promise you can.
