Do you think he'll win his 4th Cy Young?
A few weeks ago he was a long shot but now he's got a really good shot (1st in MLB with 2.17 era) (3rd in Ks), if it were MVP, Urias and Buehler might take votes away but for Cy Young, if he has another dominant start or 2,
I think it's his.I'm looking forward to this program. I bet he'll be lights out. It would be rad if he was better than Kershaw.

I wish Ken Rosenthal hadn't ruined the baseball season by making Padres fans believe he was headed to San Diego only to have the Dodgers swallow him and Turner into their super team. It's no coincidence that the Pads fell apart and went from a viable pennant contender to a total melt down fighting with the Reds for table scraps the day Scherzer headed to LA and not The SD.
Scherzer not only gave the Dodgers a huge boost in the wake of Trevor Bauer's fall from grace but also sent the Padres into a tail spin. He is the best pitcher in baseball over the last decade (including Degrom). It's ironic and the ultimate salt in the wound that the Padres were on the wrong end of his 3,000th K and an almost perfect gem.

Tbh they should make his card similar to Felix with a better fastball.

A rotation of a great Scherzer, Hernandez, Pearson, Feller and Maddux is going to be crazy.

Good call, it's crazy how under the radar Burnes has been. He broke the consecutive inning without a walk streak at the beginning of the season only to watch Cole pass him like a week later. He's top 5 in every major category, pitched 8 innings of a combined No-No yesterday and has quietly been the most consistent pitcher all year. It'll be exciting to see these two in their final few starts and would be an amazing matchup to see them square off in the playoffs.
