There’s a magical force in real baseball that makes the pitchers pitches go nowhere close to intended?? Interesting, I didn’t know that.
No pitcher in real life pitches where they intend to everytime lol. Nobody! If you did, you'd be the greatest ever
This is not real baseball homie, if I do everything right in a video game, the outcome should be rewarding and the game should not override my input to make it easier for my opponent.

No, it's not exploiting period. Just because the game is trash doesn't mean players should be forced to swing at balls.
That's on SDS, blame them, expecting players to swing at balls or be called exploiters or cheesers is downright ridiculous.

Lol, it actually doesn’t matter. This game will nerf your hits, make your diamond level fielders have crucial errors and control your pitch location regardless of what card your using.

Ill be honest, I was one of the biggest complainers about pitching prior to this patch, I even deleted the game due to it being in an unplayable state, but after I read the patch notes I decided to re install and see if they actually made changes, and compared to what we had, pitching is seeing far less hangers from perfect releases. I think people just need to adjust, with the way the game was playing previously you had to be late or early on your release to avoid hangers and hit your spot, now you are punished for that and rewarded for good releases. The last 3 games I played I had 12 k's, 10 k's, 12 k's, when in the pre patch version it was almost next to impossible to strike anyone out.
Patient hitters are frustrating to face, but they aren't cheese, you can beat a patient hitter by constantly changing speeds and staying out of a pattern, and if you're confident enough in your ability to pitch don't sweat a walk, in most cases when people get a man on base they become un glued and swing at anything to drive that run in.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong then. I keep getting perfect release but the game is doing whatever it wants with my pitches. How do you get better than perfect since you seem to understand it? I thought perfect was like, the best you could do.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong then. I keep getting perfect release but the game is doing whatever it wants with my pitches. How do you get better than perfect since you seem to understand it? I thought perfect was like, the best you could do.
are you releasing the left stick from the spot you aimed at after starting your pitch? I used to do that and found the ball would go to the center of the plate alot, now I hold the left stick in the location I chose until the pitch is at the plate and seem to have more success locating....could just be in my mind but its worked for me.

There has to be some kind of cheese going on that everyone I play online just doesn’t swing at all. You can’t even pitch inside or even attempt to paint the corners because nobody swings, is it because of the lack of the corners being called strikes or what is it? These guys aren’t even check swinging at balls that are a centimeter from the strike zone.

If I know there’s a flaw or something wrong with a certain aspect of a video game and I use that to benefit myself, uh yeah, it’s called exploiting. SDS has been called out since day 1, they made a slight adjustment that didn’t do anything but at least they can say they did something when in reality they want this trash to happen to help players hit or get on base with a walk. It’s not hard to see what’s going on and it’s easy to EXPLOIT.
