New Legend Incoming

Odds of new legend being Jeter and finally making Yankee fans happy?
I say 50/50 based on HOF induction today. Some say he's "too big" a name for a September release but I think he actually fits the bill.
-
I'm not gonna say no chance because whenever I do I'm wrong But I would put Jeter at less than a 5% chance of being the new legend. I will come back here to face my shame if I am wrong.
-
Jeter would be a guy they unveil before release to sell copies of the game. A guy like Willis, Lincecum or Delgado would be much more likely as a mid-season legend.
-
It's not going to be Jeter UNLESS it the next big collection reward cause if you notice the wording it does not say it's a new legend for TA4
My guess -- Ted Simmons -- HoF inductions today and the rest of the known players outside of Jeter are in the game and would make a perfect tie in
-
The two most likely to be the new legend released on friday are Mike Lowell or Carlos Pena. They are both in the RTTS cutscenes
-
Finally making yankee fans happy? There are always current or past Yankees being added.
-
Doubt it. I think it would be a bigger reveal and he would be the on the cover of the game.
-
Maybe something like a Marty Cordova.
-
Simmons isn't a bad guess.
My rampant speculation: Thursday (9/9) is the anniversary of Sandy Koufax's perfect game (and 4th no-hitter)
-
Like I said I expect the Mariners to be a pitcher so could this be Randy Johnson?

Dodgers already got Duke Snider as their TA4 that to me rules out Koufax
-
IF it turns out to be a new Leg for TA4 it WILL NOT be Ted Simmons he played for 3 teams and all have been revealed -- St. Louis , Milwaukee and Atlanta
This being the case IF not for TA then it still could be Simmons but the guesses of the ex players in road to the show are prolly better but i guess we shall see tomorrow morning.
ALSO -- if it's someone like Randy Johnson ( doubt it ) but IF it is -- my guess is for someone that big for the final collection reward and NOT for a TA4 reveal.

Teams without a TA4 so far, with possible new legends
Orioles - Brady Anderson
Yankees - Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams
Rays - Carl Crawfrord
White Sox - Magglio Ordonez, Carlton Fisk
Twins - Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer
Mariners - Randy Johnson, Ichiro
Athletics - Tim Hudson, Eric Chavez
Mets - David Wright
Phillies - Ryan Howard
Nationals - Tim Raines, Livan Hernandez
Reds - Frank Robinson
Pirates - Doug Drebeck
Diamondbacks - Mark Grace (Could be Randy Johnson as well but I would be suprised)
Padres - Dave Winfield
Rockies - Andres Gallaraga, Vinny Castilla
Giants - Bonds (lol no chance) Tim Lincecum -
Lincecum for the Giants is my wishful thinking prediction.
-
For the O’s, my guess is another Ripken (boo) or FS Adley (please be this).

We need that card! Now!

That's some very lackluster players. I know they each had a couple good seasons, but man, those guys are multiple tiers below the other revealed legends so far. I suppose the Rays and Marlins dont have a ton to choose from though.

Carl Crawford for the Rays would be interesting.
