I played on zone/buttons. I couldn't buy a hit for a million dollars. Today...Im pure analog and have cranked hits and homeruns. If you are scared to change up....DONT! Give it a lil practice in moments or challenge. I promise you....YOU WILL SEE RESULTS! Thanks. ..Peter North

Interesting, I think I will give this a shot. Does it matter whether to use Stride or Flick with the analog?

If you guys are gonna play Analog Stride, which I must say is the proper way to play this game if you're a non noob, is to play it balls out, just go Legend and pitch speeds maxed and practice for like a month with batting practice, but on the nooby thing that tells you if you're early or ahead and when you've got the hang of it turn that off.

This dude plays tee ball. This is like somebody telling you how you should "bowl with bumpers on because that's how real men do it. None of this gutter noob nonsense."

"Instead of timing and aiming, I'll just eliminate aiming. Yeah. This is way harder. I'm way better than the rest of these scrubs. I can chew bubblegum without walking."

I’ve been playing this game for 10 years. You have to use zone online. You may have some luck right now with pure analog but trust me - you will be stuck in .500 hell in the long run. If you want a winning record in ranked that consistently grows larger, learn to hit with zone. Period. There is a reason every top player and every one At SDS uses zone.

How about everyone uses the hitting type they are most comfortable with and go from there ?

Completely agree. Pure analog is definitely underrated, totally recommend if you have horrible hand-eye coordination and can't hit with zone.

I actually use flick. But stride is awesome also. Just get use to it buddy....you'll never go back to buttons. Please try and learn it. Be patient. ...the rewards are outstanding!

The biggest thing with pure analog (which I prefer ) is remembering to angle the stick correctly and not just flick up all the time .
