I love Miggy. For the last two years it is weird. I hit line drives etc but not many HRs. Insanely high average though with him. But I need that pop from the corner infield spot.

Survive the first round of the playoffs and come back to me, haha. But then again, the Tigers had their fair share of almost-theres during the Dombrowski era. We made it to the WS twice though!

Its because of Dombrowski's insane inability to get pieces for the Bullpen. The Red Sox powered through under Dombrowski in 2018 somehow. The 2013 ALCS still leaves a big sting, same with Nelson Cruz in 2011

Last season , since it was so short, every Topps Now content was stacked w/ high diamonds.
This year they've made it somewhat fair but this week's TN are just awesome.
Loving it! Pure F-U-N
Now put yourself in the shoes of the guy who can't play all the time. He pumps his hard earned money into the game and as soon as he buys George Brett a free Joey Wendle comes out with almost identical stats.
Is it still fun?

You just described Miggys entire career. He was never a prolific power hitter, just incredibly good at making solid contact, and sometimes they'd go out

My first grader hit a home run in tee ball the other night! Not only should he receive a topps now card he needs a futures card as well. SDS take notice.

I eventually beat this moment but I hit a ball off the blue sign above the right field seats. It says something like gopirates.com. It did not give me a HR. This can't possibly be in the ground rules for that stadium can it?

yes. for me it is. i spend no money. the guy who can't play and spends money still has the option to get these cards free.

So my argument for topps now cards is based on that exact moment in time he hit a home run off a righty therefore he should have 125 contact 125 power against righties and the rest of the card should be the same as his LS because he didn't do anything in that very moment to justify boosts. Miggy meanwhile had a career to get to 500 home runs and since he didn't get a home run every at bat he shouldn't get 125 power (yes I know this is a ridiculous line of thinking but its how I can justify the in the moment topps now)

These Topps now cards need to go or at least cap the ratings at 90 max. No way should some of these topp cards now be better than 99's. Same thing with prospects/future stars. They need a cap. No way in hell should most of these cards be rated higher than deGrom, Trout, Tatis Jr. etc etc. SDS needs to fix this next year and cap these type of cards.

And La Russa needs to go away... what is that old man still doing in baseball? I knew he was bad news when I heard about his DUI arrest right before he came back. The guy needs to drink responsibly before he lectures anyone about unwritten rules!
