A few of the things that caused it to go to 8 innings.
-I had a runner on second and Aroldis Chapman up to bat. His pitcher is standing there for about 15 seconds, and I figure "why not pinch hit for Chapman?" So I hit L1 to back out of the box, and nothing happens. A moment later, the pitcher steps off the mound and the runner on 2nd goes for 3rd. Out

Wrote this quickly and without proof reading. I play this game enough to know the controls lol. Hit down on the d-pad. Game was frozen so I started hitting other buttons and then that's when his pitcher stepped off and my runner tried to steal 3rd haha. User input was just fine.

No more of a joke than your comment. I can tell you didn't read or horribly misinterpreted the scenarios I laid out. I've been playing some of the best "baseball" the past few days. Every single time, get to the final inning and with a fresh arm from my large collection of fantastic relievers and then give up a home run to someone like live series Byron Buxton or Trea Turner. A lot of times, the PCI isn't even close to the pitch. Wouldn't bat an eye if I wasn't blanking my opponent. Zero hits and weak contact all game followed by back to back bombs with non-power hitters? Yeah.....no......

Saw some guys towing my car, I told them to drop it, they said it would cost $250 to do that, even though that's actually untrue (helpful hint for others who may find themselves in a similar situation) I refused to pay them of course, showed up to the tow office in person and basically tore them to shreds until one day I get a phone call saying "We don't want anymore problems, man. We've refunded your money, please leave us alone."

This game has issues but Madden is literally broken.
This game has serious issues, which will only snowball into a broken product. True...I may not be willing to say "broken" just yet, but it's not far off. Just a small example. WWE 2k19 was one of those most critically acclaimed WWE games EVER and it was followed by 2k20 which was a broken, buggy mess. So much so, they skipped 2k21 to address the quality of their product. We'll see if it helps.

Do you want more details? I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a CVS parking lot on Cahuenga and Yucca in Hollywood. I was at a friend's house for roughly 2 hours since parking is dog sh*t. Then we went have some New York Style pizza across the street from the CVS. In that time, the parking lot security guard at CVS called the tow company on my car and justified it by saying he thought I was going to some nearby nightclubs and would be there all night. I guess they run into that problem all the time. I started having words with the parking lot security guard and let him know the situation he put me in and he proceeds to tell me if you catch a tow company starting to tow your car, they have to drop it no questions asked.
The tow guys were liars and insisted I pay an outrageous $250 drop fee. I told them I had to pee and visit an ATM and I'd be right back. By the time I got back, they took off with my car and I ended up Ubering to their office in Los Feliz. I was very stern with the guy, who clearly is used to dealing with angry people and he basically disregarded me and said I now had to pay $350 to get my car back. I called the police so he could hear the conversation and after that I ultimately left. Over the course of a few days, I called several times an hour and kept tying up their phone lines. After a few days of this, I got the call about my refund and that they didn't want anymore problems. Persistence and intelligence is key you guys.
Want to hear the story where I got out of a "cell phone conversation while driving" ticket? Or is that also WAAAAAAY hard to believe?

Sadly, saw an elderly man whose first language wasn't English, getting taken advantage of on Sunset Boulevard in front of the former Samuel French Book Store. Tried telling him to save him the hassle and money...but he didn't know what I was saying and the tow guy started swearing at me lol.
