Yeah, I feel like a lot of us would have enjoyed a Randy card. Maybe next year.

I have a feeling his rights are expensive or hard to negotiate. People have been asking for him for many years now so I have to assume that they have tried.

Is there someplace we can access whose rights they have and who they don't? I'm sure some players are common knowledge whether it's a rights issue or they are banned from baseball. But I'll post predictions for players I hope will appear and a bunch of posters jump in saying they aren't in the game. Other than the obvious guys like Rose, Clemens and Bonds, how do people know this? Is it because a player doesn't show up year after year and it becomes obvious?
Example: yesterday I suggested Mike Lowell for TA4, Roy Halladay and Derek Jeter and was told they wouldn't appear. Jeter owns the Marlins and Lowell works for the MLB network. Why wouldn't they appear and how do you all know?

Put it this way, if they don't have a card in the game at this point in the year, SDS does not have the rights. If they are not in the MLBPA or whatever deal they worked out to include MiLB players (there is no union for minor leaguers), then they need to pay them to include them.
