So I have 6M right now (1M of “fake buy orders” as well) but haven’t flipped since probably May. Key for me was taking advantage of every Flash Sale thru June as I would spend 1M+ stubs buying up cards and then selling back a week later. Just playing the game a lot though gets you a lot of stubs as they make it pretty easy. Did the USA map over 30 times probably since beginning of the year and that was quite profitable too.
So like right now with the space packs being in the event path are you buying them at all?
No - those are quick sell and will remain there because they flooded the market in TA3. With TA4 dropping next week I’d also recommend being pretty conservative on any investments related to cards from packs and you just never know what they will include. While not an option now, investing in new Topps Now cards when they come out is always a good idea as generally you can buy the new ones for 7K and then sell them a week or 2 later for over 10K.
If I was flipping still, Headliners are usually what I focused on. They are always in circulation thru packs which means that there is usually a decent spread between buy now / sell now. Relatively easy to find 2-3K spreads and just rinse / repeat. With any investment though, I generally tried to follow 2 things: (a) don’t hold for too long since liquidity is important and SDS can always cause the market to fall and (b) diversify. I try not to over-invest in any 1 card since again I like liquidity. Having 25 of one card just makes it harder to unload when the time comes.

I never have more than a mil on hand personally. I don't flip as much as some but still make 50-100k per day. I also have every card except the two mew event rewards(which I will earn), and the 6th inning bosses. Could easily have 5 mil if I sold off all my cards. I don't invest at all though. I know there were quite a few people that made 5 mil just from investing in Cedric Mullins. If you get in early on Live series investments there is a lot of stubs to be made
Yeah I missed the boat at the beginning of the year. Can't wait to take what I've learned from yall and apply it through an entire game cycle.
So if you don't invest and you don't flip a lot do you just rely on making that 50-100k each day to get you your stub flow for the year, or am I missing something?
I'm just very smart with my stubs apart from headliners. And thats 50-100k just from flipping, not counting rewards and such. I haven't spent stubs on a single event reward, BR 90 point reward, or half of the BR 12-0 rewards. If you already have every card from a specialty pack then any card you pull from having those packs as rewards are guaranteed profit.

Ahh I get it. I'm do every event and BR, but I'm not quite sure I'm good enough to go flawless. Although my game has gotten better since I switch to a monitor a couple days ago, I even beat a player with a 12-0 banner. Apreacite the advice bud

Man that's solid advice. Thank you

i been flipping certain cards and been making over 100k a day, I have not hit 1m in stubs cause I been buying cards I do not have. I need about 14 cards to have all the flashbacks and legends. I only did RS 40 wins in the first season, This new season for BR is the first I have played I am 42 away from the 100 points. I have played events very little. I buy the headliners when they get release, I bought up all the lower cards for BR when they were released. The most expensive card I bought was probably Harper.

It’s a grind but you can make hundreds of thousands a day flipping diamond equipment. Prices stay pretty stable most of the time. Reliably make 1-5k per flip and they move pretty fast. With a bank of around 300k stubs you can do 30-60 orders at a time.
People on the forum mention Topps now and diamond perks as good flips pretty regularly as well but I’ve never personally tried flipping them.
-
Basically anytime something newish is mass released buy it cheap and sell later when it's needed for a new set or goes to an acceptable profit margin.

I can see them putting some ASG, HRD, and 42 Series cards in the TA 4 path. And maybe some FOD packs.

Agree - and hope they do a variety and different packs across divisions. Putting the same Space Packs in every Division was lazy IMO and unnecessarily crushed their value.

I have around 500k available and about a 2.3 mil stubs sitting in the market. How? How do yall get 5 million? I know all the methods, I don't quick flip. Are yall flipping cards constantly, or is it just a constant bulk investment strategy? When the market is low do yall dump everything you have into collection cards?
I'm not asking which cards yall go after or even your methods, just tips the get me to that next level. Right now my highest investment is I bought 25 Ozzie smith's for around 48k I could sell him now for around 70k each but I think I should hold. That's most of my stub making buying a lot of rewards and selling when the program ends, do yall do the same except yall about buying twice as much?
Also to all those that buy packs. DONT!! Lol I might be at 5 mil if I didn't spend the first half of the year buying so many packs. The older guys are right they are 100% a bad idea, and they don't help you complete collections, they set you back.
No the key is to not buy regular packs. The odds are way against you with regular packs. Headliners and flash sale packs are worthy buys as the odds of getting something worthwhile are much more in your favor.
-
Last year I struggled to complete collections 'til I watched YouTube videos on flipping by Ance Larmstrong.
I made my Watch List my flipping list. Since the Rivera collection dropped I've been flipping all the gold legends/flashbacks daily w/o really much effort. By this I mean I'll put in 5 or so buy orders a day and sell whatever buy orders went thru previous day.
Since the Mookie collection I added the low Milestone players (CBiggio/JFamilia/BHamilton). There are far more efficient flippers out there as far as stubs gained per transaction for sure.
& I also got two Trout pulls this year!
-
I play offline and don't spend real money - last year I had around 3.5 mil stubs. So far this year right now I'm at 1.5 mil.
I waited until I had 1 mil to finish the Live Series and get Mariano Rivera.
I think I'll wait now until I get up to 3 Mil to get Mookie Betts.

Flipping is beyond me which is why I've never been a millionaire in all my years playing MLBTS. How do you even flip

Use the companion app. I’m done flipping so I’ll just tell you what I was doing. The companion app makes this extremely easy. Sort filters to to 40-74. Sort by buy now. Margins will be about 400-500 on some of these cards. Avoid new cards. I try for cards that have a buy now for around 550-800. The sell now on these will be around 100 stubs and can be as low as 40.
Put in 50 buy orders, for the same card at the highest sell now value wait about an hour. See how many went through then put them back on the market for 1 less stub than the lowest. Rinse and repeat. Do this with as many cards as you’d like. Flip margin is about 400-500 a card.
That’s 20k if you get all the orders filled and then sold.
If for some reason the margins get jacked up which they will. Pull your buy orders and go after it again if the margin is still good.
Adrian Sanchez alone has made me about 500k in stubs the last 3 days.

Can someone help me out with flipping cards? I wanna make some stubs too but if not its fine. Its just my first year and I wanna learn how y'all are doing it.
Right now I don't have any because bought last cards needed for 99 Ohtani today. Now kinda might be regretting it but only 1 game so far. -
If you don't want to give out tips its fine. I'm just hoping to find out because I wanna get cards like Mookie and Chipper for my team to enjoy the game more.
If anyone wants to help just message. -
I've never had the patience to save stubs until I have millions. I think whatever it took to buy trout when I got him was the largest my balance has been all year. I keep telling myself that I'll build up a bunch of them, but as an obsessive collector the desire to quickly buy every good new card that comes out always overrules my common sense.

The easiest way is to look in the market to find cards with biggest gaps between their buy now price (the higher of the two values) and their sell now price. Put a buy order in for the sell now price plus 1. Order is fulfilled and you turn around and sell it at the buy now price minus 1. Keep in mind that the more expensive the card is the more juice is squeezed out of it (10% tax). The other way to do this is investments. Basically predicting that a cards value will go up based on market trends and in game ratings improvements (ie gold to diamond investment). It’s really simple but can be tedious and extremely monotonous but is a proven way to increase your in game wealth if that’s what you’re after. It’s also nice to be able to afford those ultra premium cards that you don’t have the ability to get because you’re not an elite top 50 player (not saying you the poster is not elite) that can go 12-0 in BR whenever they feel like it or have the time to grind to WS in RS.
