Congrats. And this just shows that the only people hurt by the xp cap are those that want to actually just play games.

True in some cases. 35K is hard to reach unless you're grinding tbh.

I just A) love baseball (played in college) and B) still relatively poor to a point where wasting real money on this game would qualify as a dumb@ss decision.

Here is how I did it.

Before I get any blowback “Yes, I work full time. Yes, I could have been first if I was still in school/could play round the clock. I sold him for 1M this morning. Key takeaway, —> Friday afternoon releases are your friend.”

    Rough itemized breakdown:

    • 35K yesterday and today of “in-game XP” - via conquest games/mission chasing. 70K total there.
    • 25K for the conquest map. 95K total so far
    • 50K for the 5th inning boss collection. 145K total so far.
    • ~40K from missions and daily missions. 185 so far.
    • The rest was my RTTS archetype grinding. 44K for the diamond spoke path. 32K for the gold spoke path. And the rest was maxing out a cap submariner halfway through diamond filthy painter (not using it for online, just got tired of hitting after the diamond spoke path).

All in all, ~10-12 hours of focused grinding in exchange for a free $600 net of the fee.

To reiterate; the walk method was not used. However, for those curious, SDS nerfed the walk method in general. I haven’t tested it yet but anecdotal remarks from friends say the max is 10K XP instead of 35 XP now.

You can’t call it 600 dollars lmao. SDS hands out stubs like candy.

    @CodyWolfgang_XBL
I dont think he was comparing it to actual $600. I think he meant that's how much you would have to spend on stubs in the store if you wanted to straight up buy the card from scratch.

Correct. Just a quick comparison. 900K stubs still takes quite a while even with playing the game normally.

No it hurts those that only play one aspect of this game in a rise and repeat method.

It rewards those like the OP who play all of DD and the elements included.

Play your games but don't expect or feel you are entitled to the same rewards as someone like OP who does it all

Great Job OP this shows that the XP cap is a positive it rewards players like you who play all of what DD has to offer and not some rinse and repeat method.

Whatever you are smoking I want some. The OP literally just grinder out 2 different archetypes to get that last 175k he needed in a day. How exactly is that “playing all the elements”. Seems just like a different exploit to me.

Congrats. My question and this is no slight to you, what is the purpose of buying Pedro for a million when you can win him for free in a week or two. Just to be the first to super factor him? And what does that get you? Mad community respect? I'm definitely not slamming you, kudos for being able to win him honestly and making a nice profit. But why does someone pay that for a free card? Please inform. I admit, this is my first year so if there is a glaringly obvious reason, i'd totally eat my words.

No OP had to play those Archetypes programs he still had to play games and complete missions with those players. Even if he set them up he still had to get them to that position and you know play the game.

Also OP had to win 10 online game, 5 extra inning games. Complete the stat missions

There is alot the OP did to get to 350k over different elements of the game

I have seen your game history beating up on the CPU in conquest games 10 or 11 runs a game rinse and repeat right and you should be rewarded the same as OP is when they did everything???

I wouldn’t be rewarded the same, since if I only played offline, I wouldn’t get all the extra xp from the h2h missions (or is your math as bad as your economics). The OP literally got half his xp grinding ball players in RTTS, which is far more abusive than playing conquest.

Once again, your entire defense of this bs cap is that you benefit because you don’t play as much as others. Guess what, life isn’t fair. The real world is going to be a shock for you.

We are talking about a game, with an xp cap in reality means NOTHING!!!!

Of course your way of defending your position is to say someone will be shocked about the real world, solid move makes for a great comparison.

I collect a pay check dealing with peoples problems all day long so I don't need a lecture from you on the ReAl WorLd.

The XP Cap is great for this game should have been done sooner

I think the long-term effect of an XP cap will be reducing burnout.

No, the xp cap is great for you, but it still should never have been implemented when a simple fix to the walk method would have sufficed. I showed just how absurd your arguments are and now you are getting mad.

I am not sure. I would never in a million years buy any card in this game for a 1M stubs when it is free in a program.

But, I am always happy to satisfy a market need.

If I had to guess, someone is racing to get a P5 1/1. The people buying for a 1M are the kids who invest and have max stubs (5M). I find it hard to believe someone would ring up a credit card or hard-won stubs to use it like this.

Not sure what this is means. The method I used was definitely more variable that the kids who set up their Cronus Zen to do the walk-method over and over and over and reach the boss pack in under 12 hours.

Considering you are the one with something they don't like or think is fair but isn't going anywhere so you have to get used to it. Sounds like you are the one who is not used to the real world. We get it, you don't like the cap. I think the cap should be a little higher but like the idea overall. Neither of us is the end all be all so grow up and realize you have to learn to live with the cap.

Just chill. You can get your card. And you most likely will. Do the work or don’t do the work. Stop worrying about others. It’s not conducive to yourself.

Actually he can quantify it as $600 as stubs actually do have a monetary value. Now that’s not to say you can exchange them for cash but they do have an equivalent exchange rate without the cash transaction.
