Same here. I think it’s great that they are trying to do something don’t get me wrong. Hopefully they are prepared for this because it’s almost certainly going to happen.

If they can code for automatic griefing due to consecutive walks, which they have done, then they can code for automatic griefing due to spamming R2 repeatedly, or bunt dancing. No need to risk having grief reports submitted for pitching outside the zone to someone with a big strike zone, which is probably going to happen.

I'm sure they'll review the grief reports to make sure there's evidence that the player was actually doing something wrong before taking any action. Even if a bunch of whiners do abuse the system by submitting bs reports, the worst case scenario is that it'll create a little extra work for the poor SDS employee who's tasked with going through them all. No harm done to the player base.

SDS really needs to communicate on this issue and spell out exactly what they consider griefing for these reports. It’s not like it should take more than a paragraph.

Which is fine since that poor SDS employee has caught up with all the tickets that were submitted because SDS refuses to implement a system where you can't take the same no-sell card twice.

    Oh wait...

Yeah exactly. My privacy/personal info ticket took months to resolve and that's way more critical than a dupe card. For sure they're not going to pore over every single grief report to see if they're all legit. Any one of us could wake up to sanctions because someone didn't like dealing with curveballs in the dirt.

I’d assume if a player is getting reported a lot they’ll actually do some digging and maybe warn the player.

They’ll also track who is using it. So anyone spamming it will get warned as well.

It’s good. As long as it’s fair.

If they can't reply to a ticket I submitted way back in April about losing players in my inventory then no way they are going to review thousands of games played per day.

I can’t wait to get banned because someone can’t lay off a slurve down and away or a fastball up high. I’ve already been messaged after a game by a bunt cheeser who was cheesed I kept throwing pitches that he couldn’t bunt/would lead to pop outs.

Are people going to submit reports for silly reasons? Yes.

Here is the reality: people behave with some form of consistency. It's not about the 30 games a person plays and the one off shoot report from a toxic player.

There will be dudes that will be reported with consistency. Like those that have long winning streaks and sub .200 BA.

I could imagine both players sending in reports during the "extra lead every pitch/throw over for extra lead".

How are they going to determine what griefing is?
