Or people can pay attention to what they are doing! You screwed up, now you got to wait! SDS doesn't need to make this an emergency on their part because you and some others didn't pay attention to what you were doing in game!
Yes, they screwed up, no argument there. But given the number of posts about this issue and the high volume of support tickets generated for other issues, you would think adding a TA
NS card exchange would solve both issues. Can't be that hard and I can't think of a downside.
I'm sure there would be a downside and it would take a week for this community to find it then some how exploit it
-
I am sure at some point they will help people out who messed up, but we still have over 2 Months left in the MLB season. Probably too early now. Would be a slap in the face to everyone who did things right. But they usually do cater to the small percentage that needs help so just hang in there.
-
The need to do something, but suggestion #1 is all thats needed. 2, 4, and 5 are redundant and #3 is downright stupid

Already found it.
People would choose a card, earn the stats to get the TA points, then exchange it for another, rinse, repeat.
-
That's why you don't need every collection to complete Mookie, Rivera etc. 15/16 for Mookie and 14/15 For Rivera.
So you don't get Ohtani for a while, bummer. But I'm sure they will address this at some point. -
I wouldn't have a problem with them adding an exchange once you hit 100% completion for the division. That's kind of the only way. I don't have a good explanation why it's possible to select duplicates of non-sellable cards, but it doesn't bother me because I just make sure I know exactly what I am doing and pay attention.

See I knew there would be something.
It makes me laugh for how so many people brag and boost how this game is so easy to No MoNeY sPeNt the level that this community will go to to game or scam the system is unbelievable. Then cry and complain that tye new bosses are an L and won't even make their Bench.

Hm not a terrible idea.
Really the best way to do avoid this issue from SDS POV is to stop just giving choice packs for the TAs and give a single card instead, probably in ascending order of overall or team based on their standings at the time they released the program.
So like if the program dropped today the NL central would get the Pirates card first, then the Cubs, then Cards, Reds and the last would be Brewers.
Of course, I'm sure people will complain about not being able to choose their preferred option first (Like not being able to take Castellanos or Hader first) but it definitely removes the issues for people who can't be bothered to pay attention to what they were doing.

Not a bad idea at all, but I was definitely glad I could choose who I wanted to start using first. Some cards I really wanted and there are some divisions where I just took pitchers first because their missions are fastest to complete.
I almost wonder if SDS wants players to make the mistake of picking a duplicate to add another layer of exclusivity to some of the collections. It's kinda messed up, but if 1-2% (or whatever the # of folks taking dupes is) of the player base can't get Acuna, Ohtani, etc then that creates a little more lineup diversity at that stage of the game. That's my tinfoil hat theory.

choice pack with 5 non sell players, 5 packs in program, you get 1 of each, cards marked with no sell button on the card after you have picked it. VERY EASY AND NON COMPLICATED.
we who have taken our time and made sure to be careful, should not be penalized for those who cant seem to know what they are doing.
(note this does not apply to those who had server exceptions or that other glitch that gave a different player) -

No thanks. I have not done all of the Team Affinities. I did a select few, chose the players I wanted, and moved on. Don't make it harder on players like me because other players are in too much of a rush to slow down and pay attention to what they are doing.
As for those who have chosen duplicates. I hope that they resolve it for you but they are in no way obligated to do so. Barring a bug that I don't know about this is 100% a user error that does not hinder your ability to actually play the game. They should be at the bottom of the support queue underneath people with actual technical bugs and issues.
Highly doubt a change is coming this year in the procedure. They are probably knee deep into next years game already so maybe something then.
