I have read a few posts about hitting. It appears a lot of people use buttons to hit. I use analog and flick most of the time.
I hit homeruns as much as the next guy. With that being said, im pretty much limited to what "normal swing"? I have also used stride which basically limits you to power swing only?
    Any thoughts?

    Thx

If you use flick, power swings require you to pull the analog stick down then up, a contact swing is 'flicking' to the either side instead of up...... stride on the other hand u can 'select' your swing type each pitch by pressing the corresponding button (square for power, etc...) before the pitch. You should feel a little vibrate on the controller when your press the button.

With stride does the upward direction matter at all or is it all timing?

As far as I understand it's all timing but I could be mistaken.
