Pitching is still god awful
-
They way to avoid this is to aim to have a late not good release on the pitch.

There needs to be a “pitchers PCI” if you will. Similar to a hitters PCI. Where there will be a circle that designates where the ball could go based upon a good release. It would be bigger for pitchers with poor control and smaller for pitchers with good control. So when you’re pitching with a poor control pitcher and you aim for the corner there’s a chance it could be out of the zone or more hittable, or right where you want it. But if you have a bad release the balls will go outside that “pci.”

Quit hitting those doobies so hard and you'll pitch better my guy.

That sounds like pulse, no thanks.

I use pulse. Its fine. Its just as random though.

I use it too. I mean, if you can get perfect release does it really matter what interface you use? Pitching is so controlled by the game itself at this point though.

Its every input. Pulse has less user input than both meter and analog and like the other two, hangs just as often. Granted I'm not the best at it.

I think next year's beta, SDS needs to track how often people get perfect releases and if it was a hit or not. I've had a lot of hangers, but it's mostly because I probably get perfect release 33% of the time with meter.

I cannot tell you how many breaking balls I’ve tried to throw below the zone, to the point where the ball marker is off the screen, I hit my spots using analog pitching and the ball is still hung in the lower 1/3. Cost me my last ranked season game
How bad is it that I’ve had “just late” release outcomes that resulted in the pitch going higher than where I had it, and vise versa
Pitching is still awful imo. They need to design a new pitching interface where the control attribute effects how hard it is to hit marks on whatever interface you use. If you hit your marks, your pitch should hit EXACTLY where you aimed it. No questions.
Make hitting the marks on the interface harder based on pitch control and BB/9. I’m so [censored] tired of my pitches going nowhere near where I had them with good input.
Been saying that for a long time. Maddux's marks should be much easier to hit than Ryan. They really need to work on this.

No it's not like pulse. You could use meter, analong, whatever, but there would be visual indication of where the ball is going to go based on the release result.
