I don't play ranked but I do find it amusing that every day or two we get a different version of this thread.

I only recently got to 100 ranked games played, and I used to play 500-700 games a year. Now some of that is less time to play bc RL, but I don't enjoy ranked once I get to HoF and find myself playing way more events and BR

Yeah, I’ve enjoyed BR way more. But, the whole point of DD is to get the best players to take into ranked, so it kinda feels pointless to me. Just a bummer honestly, though I will admit I feel better it’s not just me lol.
Ranked seasons are simply not worth it. We all play the game to get the best cards and the cards we want. We build our teams and go head to head with other players and their teams for a full 9 inning game. It's a complete sweat fest, I'm sure we all don't go into these games thinking that but that is what they turn out to be. We have to be good enough to reach 900 to get the 1 card or we have to win 40 games to get that 1 card. To me, the juice just isn't worth the squeeze. I actually like the idea of ranked seasons, there should be some kind of reward path of sorts though. The little amount of stubs and show packs we get just doesn't cut it.

Yeah, I agree. I actually really like the BR program this year, I just find it much more enjoyable. Like you said, I don’t want every single game to come down to one mistake me or my opponent makes. Sometimes I want a decisive game whether it be for me or my opponent. It’s become too stressful.

It’s crazy. I can sit fastball and even guess the location Pre pitch and I’m still late right now. Wasn’t that way for 2 weeks ago... I was early and pulling foul balls. I play daily.

I used to be able to score 5-10 runs on HOF. Can't hit anything any more. Feels like I'm trying to hit 110 mph wiffle balls.

I tell myself I do but then I'll play a few games of it and then want to slap someones grandma that's how frustrating it is. But then I don't play for a few hours and I get the itch again. Rinse and repeat.
What makes it lame is every game is the same. Who can keep their opponent from hitting the fewest homeruns. Because there is no other way people score besides HRs. LITERALLY. No other way. 90% of the games I play are like 1-0, 2-1, 2-0... The default sliders for the game are bad so you see a lot of things like outfielders being able to run from a mile away to get under a ball and catch it. Line drives off the bat arent realistic at all. It looks like when you hit a golf ball with a 9 iron.
But yeah my biggest gripe is the lack of diversity when it comes to plays on offense. All you see is. Strikeout. HR. Slowest hit ball ever for infield single. Pop-out to catcher that only went 7 feet in the air. Or line drive directly at an OF.

All ive seen is my opponent attempting to bunt or successfully bunting for the last three games. This is why i have reduced my RS play drastically over the years

It’s all I play online. But I ensure I stay in All Star.
Nothing quite like a 9 inning game.

Same, this has been the only year since I’ve been playing the game where I cannot hit HOF. I used to hit just as good as all star tbh. Something is awry.

I stopped playing Ranked in season 3. I couldn’t deal any longer with the timing windows mess, Cabrera’s magic sinker and my noodle bat.
I found bliss in the game mode extra innings, you should try it.
Yea same I don’t touch rank anymore. It’s one of three out comes. 1. You go up against the guy who doesn’t swing at anything a millimeter out of the strike zone. 2. Your opponent just does toxic [censored] all game long making it unbearable. 3. Freeze off at some point or some weird angels in the outfield animation to cost you the game. I enjoy BR and conquest thats about it right now

Nope I hate it.. I’m 67-24!! And HATE jumping into ranked seasons… pitching is so OP it’s mind boggling boring!! Been playing only BR but that’s lame cause I wanna play with the cards i have grinded for… On AS difficultly you can’t really strike people out and they foul off EVERYTHING but the games are atleast entertaining

Yeah, I’m like 90-34 but that’s besides the point lol. The games are terrible to play.
