Piazza or ASG Realmuto?

Who would you rather have as your starting catcher? Currently using Schwarber but thinking about getting one of those guys and moving Schwarber to the bench as a lefty power bat.

For me thats easy. JT brings so much more to the table. Incredible defense,incredible arm,great hitting,amazing speed for a catcher. I crush home runs with this card and hit for average. Plus he has the catcher pop time quirk. Piazza is basically just a good hitter imo. JT is faster than most people in the game with 77 speed!

Piazza has kind of just mashed his way into my lineup. I never intended to use him because I really value defense behind the plate, but I wanted to try him out. He just hits gapper after gapper for me. He also has blocked everything...although he doesn't completely smother them. But then there is the arm....

I've had all of the catcher cards and JT or Schwarber are my go to, Mostly JT. That card is crazy good.

The speed on Realmuto is enough reason to never play Piazza imo...

Exactly. To be completely honest I hate that Piazza card. He would be a better pinch hitter than anything and I don't even think he's worth that, I don't like his swing at all. I hit a few homers with him but I hit a bunch with JT.

I don’t know why but I struggle with JT. However, I can for some reason hit well with ASG Perez. I got Piazza from a pack, but like JT, just can’t seem to hit with him.

are you using the Team Affinity JT or All Stsr JT? I feel a huge improvement with the all Star card,

I bought Piazza after 2 failed pack attempts. Met fan ties.
I can't hit that well with JT either. Something just seems to be missing, or am I expecting bomb after bomb from him?

All Star JT has it all, the arm behind the dish, plus the decent speed, and great hitting! Nothing more to be desired besides maybe lacking the ability to switch hit
