Finally got Clemente - 'Offline Player'

So, I hate playing online, but I figured I would try to just get the 10 K's with White Sox pitchers in 'Events'. Especially since the FOD Event is free to enter (ends tomorrow).
To the 4 players that beat me 35-0 EACH and noticing that I didn't swing at a single pitch and only pitched with White Sox players.....I'm glad I was able to help you pad your stats.
Brutal....but got Clemente!

I got Clemente last Friday, had to play about 25 event games only won 5 (I know I'm brutal) I thought there was a mercy rule though? The worst I lost was 9-0 and even then I wasn't to worried because records don't matter in events so it was just on to the next game.

That probably took you 2-3 times longer then it would have if you tried. Lmao, you would have probably fell into 1-2 wins too!

People don’t play online because they don’t want to lose to another person. So when they do missions like this, they don’t try so they don’t feel like they actually lost.

I never played online until this event to get the FOD program done. Dont consider myself very good. it took me 10 games to get 5 wins, 2 of them were from players quitting. Also got the 10 K's. I won the last two games in a row 3-2 and 1-0 and sweated those games out as my opponents had multiple guys on base with less than 2 outs in the 2nd and 3rd in both games, lol. One of the games I lost I was no hit and 8 of my 9 outs were strikeouts, haha.

Kinda, but not really.
The goal isn't to win. It's to collect the stats. So even if you do get blasted 35-0, if you get your stats you can still feel like you 'won' because you accomplished what you set out to do.

Still doesn’t explain why they wouldn’t even take some swings. You’re in the game, why just sit there? They just don’t want to fail when actually putting an effort.

I did bunt in 1 of the games in the 3rd inning to make it go faster (ended up beating it out for a hit)......but it seemed to have pissed off the other guy....so he plunked my next batter. Geesh!

Same here but honestly it wasn't that bad. Since I rarely play online, I was matched against someone who was pretty bad in RS. Picked up the K's I needed and went back offline.
