I literally can’t make contact with the ball. Not even foul balls. I had 11 hits last game. But it was an anomaly I’ve never changed my approach I’ve dropped from 800s all the way down to the 6s. My question is should I be contact swinging? Is it necessary to play. Certain situations? Or every pitch? I ain’t trying to be trolled seriously fellas

I've always used normal swing. Contact swing was so OP the first half of this year, and then they nerfed it. The only way I've personally utilized contact swings are to put the ball in play with a runner on 3rd or the pitcher hitting or something like that.

I wasn’t on HOF! I haven’t been there in 4 games or so. And still my OP had 16 hits and 9 runs. It was just a question buddy.

I want to honestly see if normal swing may be holding me back. On why I can’t even touch the ball.

I saw contact swing like crazy if you get results. Who cares about all these babies crying that you can hit using contact. It's in the game for a reason. To make contact. I don't care that it was "overpowered". Cry me a river.

I just can't find consistency online at all. I mainly play Events and BR. Been facing Nolan and Crochet a lot in the event and I go from facing someone who uses them well and mixes things up...yet I still am squaring things up, getting hits and scoring runs. Then I run into someone who is very predictable and I know where the fastball is going...set my PCI up and and wait for it and swing the second it leaves the hand...yet I am late. It just seems to change game to game.

As for your contact swing thing...since right now you are playing on All Star, why not play a few event games and test it out? All legends are fair game right now, so most teams are not too different than teams you will see in RS right now. You are going to see Nolan, Leiter, Lee, Vlad, Chipper, Jackie, Walker, etc. But that way you can do your experiment without worrying about your ranking in RS.
