I need help

Honestly, I’m ready to uninstall this game out of rage quitting.
Has anyone finished the 5th Inning or Field of Dreams Showdown? I’m so far 0-fer on all showdowns except the introduction and was wondering if anyone would like to do these two for me?
Thanks in advance

I’m not good at the game or showdowns but beat them first try by doing all the moments. If I go in tied or down 1 I get the win. A walk and couple late hits does the trick. Just work deep into counts and wait for your pitch. I think they are much easier this year than last

All the moments leaves you 2 points short of 100 tho

I should say leaves me 2 points short

I'm not sure how good you are but 5 event wins gets you a good amount of points for field of dreams

Get five K's with White Sox pitchers. It took me three games total.

Just draft guys with power (disregard contact because the PCI is going to be huge no matter), draft perks that give you contact or exit velocity (if they don’t give you any, take pitching perks and activate them when there’s a pitching mission), and grab at lease one speed guy (usually one in the reserves after you draft the players).
When you go in the final level and attempt to swing at only good pitches (if you have to move the PCI left or right don’t swing), if you are at 10 outs or less left, sub in the speed guy for the worst batter in the line up and lay down a bunt towards 1st base. Then get a hit and attempt to get the speed guy home.

Showdown??? What's that? oh wait...that's that mode i refuse to play to protect my sanity! LOL. do the event, get the 5 wins, you'll get at least one from someone quitting (I got lucky and got one that way).

Showdown is annoying this year but easier than last. I know that sounds weird but this year really is about waiting for your pitch. They will throw you trash all showdown long. They programmed it to get people to constantly swing at bad pitches. So just force yourself to be patient. If you do that you will be surprised how much easier it becomes. I know that can be hard to do. I have games where I feel like everything is slow mo and I can lay off pitches that even touch the lines...then there are other games that every low pitch looks like its down the middle to me and Im swinging in the dirt. Times like that I have to force myself to know I am swinging at trash and just to let things go even if it means taking an occasional strike.

I actually did that in one Online game. Not sure why I forgot to do the online missions…

True. What I did was load up the event with White Sox pitchers and strike out 10 (5? I can't remember) batters. Even if you don't enjoy online play, I'm sure you can do this.
The Showdown took me multiple tries, so I get your frustration.

I want to thank you all for the advice. Not sure why I forgot about the online missions until last night. I got my 10 hits with Yankee players and 10 Ks with White Sox pitchers in one game, unlocked Felix, Roberto and Mo Rivera. Thank you all again, and just like that, The Show sucked me back in
