First off let me Start by saying I am not calling out anyone for choosing the hitting interface of their choice to make the game more enjoyable. There are many players of many different skill levels and also people with lesser abilities that play this game, that need different interfaces to suit their needs. However, especially in competitive online play, why is there not an option to play against people who are using your specific interface? If I’m a zone hitter, why am I put it up against someone else who automatically has the advantage?

That actually makes sense kinda, but also not.
Zone hitting is like driving a manual in a racing game. You are the 1 with more options if your on zone while opponent is on analog or what ever.

Zone hitting is the advantage. Directional amd Analog are both filled with RNG. If they were better options than Zone, everyone would use them

If you look at batting practice, analogue and directional hitting always places the PCI in a more accurate position than all but the best of zone hitters. RNG is generated for any hit, no matter what hitting interface is used. Hence the perfect perfect fly out applies to zone hitters as well. I have yet to see any substantial benefit to zone hitting in terms of less random outcomes when PCI pLacement is done perfectly . Hence there should be options to play against your own interface type. If anything, it would clear up any misconceptions of someone else having an easy upper hand.
