For me, Showdown part of FOD is not good

So here we go try number 3. I fail the lefty grove boss and it’s over?
Is this how it works? It keeps resetting me back to draft after failing that.
Stupid piazza celebrated a pretty shallow fly with a runner on 3rd, he was jumping up and down with excitement as my 62 speed player took his sweet time to get thrown out at the plate.
And back to draft.
Personally, I would rather have to get 1000 hits with Brooks Robinson than play showdown.

The events forget about it for me 3 losses in bunts

Yep I tried the other avenues to complete it and was no fun either. Maybe just suffering through the whitesox and yankees online stats to complete but at the same time I got plenty of other things I would rather do like lay face down.
I really just want king felix.
Wish there were just more card set missions.

I would rather do more moments for one point each than sit through showdown or play online.

Showdown f'in sucks and the bozos of this studio know it, they just don't have any clever ideas for better material.

Once I did the math and figured out you HAD to do either showdown or the event I passed. Got the Brooks Robinson card and called it good afterward.

Honestly, Robinson was all I really wanted as an O’s fan but the completionist inside of me if is bugged by it. I tried showdown a few times tonight and it just made my blood boil. It’s just not worth the increase in my blood pressure.

I'm not even attemping this program. It's annoying how everything caters to online play. Why can't us offline guys get the same stat missions? I understand the spamming, so ok...make it a legit 1000 hit with this guy or 1000 ks with that guy..showdowns and moments are absolutely dreadful in this game. I would not mind showdowns if the fielding AI played true to thier cards and not become a Parallel V diamond with 125 in all fielding categories and speed.

After all my complaining I got 2 event wins this afternoon and 3 tonight and the rest of the program came easy after that with some time

EDIT: Forgot mub backwards is a bad word in the UK....but this isn't the UK...haha yes! That's what I mean, I am struggling to get hits with him too but at least the stats are counting up and eventually I would get to 1000. This FOD showdown keeps restarting on me somewhere during the journey to the last boss so I can't clear it.
Plus it's showdown...

5 event wins gets you 16 points and its repeatable - that's my path and all the missions and some of the moments

Yea, I'm not wasting my time to get those 2 cards (Felix and Clemente). I'm probably done with this game for the year since Madden comes out today. I'm not beating my head against the wall in Showdown. And for the trolls...yes I know, I'm not the best player, and I'm fine with that. So keep your "Get good" comments to yourself.

I'm actually kind of looking forward to the extreme moments. I feel like I've gotten pretty good at moments this year and in the past I've always quit playing before they dropped that program, so I'm curious to see just how good I really am.

5 event wins which is repeatable. Easier to stat grind and less stressful than Showdown, plus you can apply stats to other programs....I'd advise going that route.
