Really???? Yeah no possible way he, being the manager, could possibly influence a game while he is gambling on baseball regardless of whether it was his team and more likely other teams as well.

Yeah he was the manager, that’s what made the situation so egregious. And for some of it he was a player manager.

Got the Reds on again and Suarez with a big, 2-out, 3 run bomb to put us up 3-1
I know hardly anyone cares...but....reds are 4 back from a wild card spot and my optimism is unusually through the roof this time of year as a Reds fan

As far as the GOAT goes, Joseph Daniel Votto, this guy was literally the definition of offense. One of the few guys that didn’t seem to be a part of the strikeout revolution and still be able to put up power numbers with one of the best eyes ever. Yea he may not have the World Series or 500 homers. But the guy is an MVP and deserves to have his name with the likes of other All time great hitters in the hall.
Also, put pete in the hall so Cincy sports can win a playoff game/series dammit

So which is more impressive, Freddie Freeman hitting for the cycle for the second time in his career or Votto hitting dingers in basically a Little League ball park. And keep in mind that Freeman’s cycle is the first time in NL history that a first baseman has accomplished that feat more than once in a career.
