FOD Event question

Im not an online player but wanted to try the FOD Event.
It says only Wsox and Yankees players. So I did that and put each position from one of those teams.
But when I play others, they have guys from other teams than the wsox and yanks.
Why is that?

You can use any legend card.

You’re not limited to those two teams. You can also use Legend cards, and (I think) one other “type” of card. When you’re building your team, any players that are qualified, will be in the inventory for you to select by position.

You didn't notice all the other cards in the lineup screen when building your team?

ya but i am new to online and never did this. i thought they were there but you had to sub them out for yankees or whitesox players.
