Intrigued by this card. His swing is always something I've not been a fan of, but curious how it is this year if they made any changes.

Good luck with that slooooow swing. I dig michael jack but cant hit a lick with any of his cards ever from any year.

Nope,same swing. but if you can learn it he smashes,and this card is the best vs rh that hes ever had.

They’ve never given the best 3rd baseman a good swing…sucks

All swings are 4 frames in length from the time you press swing. It's all cosmetic. Nevertheless, not liking a swing is real so long as you admit it's all psychological. I can't hit at all with Soriano; some guys swear by him.
Maybe STANCE has more to do with it than the actual swing....?

While you are correct about every swing being four frames, there are still different swing types. 1 handed follow through, two handed etc. its not a coincidence that all the universally loved swings (Mondesi, Finley, Blackmon etc) are two handed follow through and all the righties with 1 handed follow throughs like Schmidt, Ripken etc are hated

Not necessarily. A variety of other factors like stance etc play a factor too. Typically open stances are better, which McGwire has

Bomb in his first at bat and a five rib game.....been waiting for his card....easily parted with the 100k for that card. Got end game c, 2b, 3b, ss, closer and one starter.....not bad at all. Time to just accumulate stats
