Good riddance to anyone that goes away but the sad part is they don't. They leave for a bit then get mad at the new game, whatever that may be at the time, whine and cry on those forums and then come back only to whine and cry again. Madden is an absolute dumpster fire and will be forever but it's the shiny new thing that sucks people back in every year.
Want to show companies that their game is trash, stop buying it.

How is that deflecting issues? If you want the game to change, people need to show it by not buying it. Why would they change if they get great sales every year doing a little here and there. The solution is simple but people get fooled into thinking this year will be different and buy it again and again only to complain again and again.
Not deflecting anything at all, just staing facts. They obviously don't care about what the community says seeing as the complaints are the same year after year.

Yes, but one person doing that doesn't make a difference. You and I both know enough people not playing to make a difference is not going to happen.

Since the most recent update MLB has been on par with recent Madden games, boring, repetitious, loaded with in game AI cheats and ever degrading gameplay issues. Up until nerfing contact swings MLB was a fun game to play. Now the locked animations are further exposed and the dullness of the game is simply undeniable. Having rushed to played every day in Innings 1 -2 -3 (achieved 650,000 early) inning 4 brought with it the noted changes and a loss of interest on my part. Madden 21 was, in MHO, the worst Madden ever. Had SDS not made changes of late and literally ruined the game I had zero interest in giving Madden 22 any attention. For me, even SDS's dedication to expanding content releases which far exceeds any EA content for Madden, even that is NOT enough. So we get 92-98 players who hit no differently than 72-79 players. Boring. Right now, I share many of OP's feelings and am also taking a further look at Madden 22 as a viable option. The temptations increase as I read EA Play for Madden allows players to play the game as early as 3 days ahead and a most recent post suggests even as early as the 12th. The lure is there ......... I cannot say the same for MLB. All I am saying is OP has a right to express his opinion and many may agree with him. No need to vilify him for his sincere opinions no matter how he chooses to express them here. You don't agree with him? Just say so and move along to the next post on the forums. Last word, he is not alone.

You sure about that? I don’t hang around when I finish with the game but I’d assume the traffic on the forum dies down a lot.

Well I mean at least 95% of the time you can play Madden online with minimal to no lag. That alone makes it a better online game. This game is hideous online and that’s being generous.

Madden has a bit of lag also. The only difference is that its not a game of milliseconds. I can play certain pals who have a good internet like myself and this game isnt too bad. Then I play my select few buddies with WI-FI and this game is garbage. I doubt any baseball game will ever get this right. Add to it I prefer sitting on my couch playing on my 70 inch TV as opposed to sitting in a corner on a tiny monitor.

Not getting Madden. Same trash EA puts out yearly. Not falling for their marketing gimmicks either they put out yearly saying how they changed this or that when in reality they change nothing.

Why would they change? How about to make it better? It is 2021 and this game still doesn't have ping indicators when connections are a huge part of the player experience. In a game where you are trying to hit 100 mph sinkers, lag plays way too big of a role. I shouldn't be playing on HOF and seeing 110 mph sinkers that just warp to the glove.

This is such a harsh post for a video game. Telling people to quit "their jobs" because they suck? Do you even have experience doing this job OP? This game is not perfect by any stretch. I get triggered with base running, freeze offs, and most importantly because I suck. Those rare perfect perfects are not always hits, but it was never intended to be hits 100% of the time.
The one area where I think SDS can do better is transparency of calculations and methodology for RNG. Quirks in this game make it so difficult to understand and there are a ton of quirks. Early swings with Trout are like nukes because he excels at hitting fastballs, breaking balls, when his team is down, plays at night , and whatever...Then what is he not good at and how does this affect his stats. This is similar to Trea Turner's all star card. That card is insane. You don't see or know how to make of it when Turner hits better than Chipper. -

The fielding is still awful and looks unnatural. That's #1 with a bullet. Baserunning AI is absolutely abysmal. The PCI is an extremely flawed system by design.
Constant server issues. Lack of original animations for most characters. Inconsistent results on contact zones. Bizarre facets like pitchers batting in AL games. Etc.
A lot of these seem minor but many make the game CLEARLY inferior to baseball games that have been around for over a decade.
To try to pretend The Show isn't just a dial-in at this point is silly.
