Yeah, probably. Was he really good enough to be in the game? I mean he was a really good player but idk.

Mark Grace is just another very good first baseman. Solid glove, good contact hitter, but almost no power for a first baseman. I could reel off about 10 other first basemen who are about the same and don't need to be in the game. He is almost a clone of Keith Hernandez, minus the MVP. It's not that he sucks, but I don't think he was ever the best player on any team he was on, so I don't think anyone outside the Chicago faithful, or small handful of Arizona fans from his final years would be interested.

His contact,vision and fielding should be pretty high. Dude could dig some balls outta the dirt. Not that he needed to that much with Dunston and that friggin cannon --- which btw I've been telling sds for yearssss that that's how I wanna throw the ball in this game
