I don’t need anymore best cards, I need Mookie without spending 500k on junk I’ll never use.

I keep going back and forth about doing the collection. I can skip 1 set, but because there's so many cards I would have to get & lock in that I wouldn't use I almost feel like the milestone & award sets are must do. Unfortunately those are two of the more expensive ones.

Thats absolutely not true. Chippers Awards, Jimmy Foxx awards, Griffey awards are all better than their signature cards. Every milestone card we have gotten a signature card for in the past is better than the signature except for Lofton. Honus and Ty Cobb prime cards were better than their 19 signatures. In fact the only Awards/Prime/milestones I can think of that are worse than their signature cards were are Babe Ruth, Evan Longoria, and Kenny Lofton

I know that, I'm just responding to the thought that signatures were the best version of a card and Awards/Prime/Milestones were not, when the fact of the matter is signatures are often times the worst of the 4 options

Yeah I’d probably agree. Taking an average of multiple seasons is never going to work out as well as one greatest season like with an awards or even a prime.
