2 hour freeze off restart

So I was stuck in a 2 hour freeze off with a guy , up 3-0 and batting in bottom of 3rd. I am making my first WS push attempt and wasn’t going to quit.
So I am sitting near my monitor and working on my laptop and the freaking guy all of a sudden starts pitching again. So it was like a 2 hour pause. Craziest [censored] thing.
I had a perfect game after 8 innings and he dashboarded when I led off bottom of inning With a Turner homer.
I had walked away from my office for 2 40 minute breaks expecting him to quit, but if I had not been back at my desk when he started again……
Anyone ever had that happen to them?

Never even heard of a freeze off restarting lol.

Heard of it, never had it happen.

Happened to me in the last. Not as long. Maybe about 45 minutes but I was in my office doing some work and all of a sudden heard the game playing again. Luckily I was up 8 or 9 runs at the time so I held on.

I was in a freeze off last year. I wouldn't quit because I was winning. Left my PS4 on while I cut grass and worked in the yard. Took a shower and the dude still hadn't quit.
