RIP to J.R Richards passed away at 71. Hopefully SDS will pay their respects.

JR was a beast and a good example of “what could have been” as his career was cut short by that stroke. Filthy stuff and would indeed be a fun card.

It's sad that in one of those interviews he was asked if anyone tried to help and he said no one, not even the ball club. He overcame an awful lot in life. RIP

Different times man. Different players union. Different mentality from ballclubs too.
Had the stroke happened last week, he'd be cared for by the players union, Crane and company as well as GoFundMe.
