Have you considered placing dummy buy orders to reduce your bank so you can have more than the allowed 5m bank? Or why not buy cards that will appreciate in value so your cash is reduced but your net worth goes up? Like putting Gold in your safe instead of cash in the bank.
Yeah I have that already with a bunch of Trout buy orders but I don't really need anymore since I will be moving towards madden as my primary game in 8 days. In total I probably have 6M which should be plenty to the end of the game. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

I think you are about right so long as we don't get any 1m stub cards in the near future. That could drive up prices on all future and past BR/WS cards. SDS has given WS and BR paths to help with that but not sure if it will be enough to keep prices from getting to 1m this year.

Ditto. Technically I have 3.5M stubs liquid but that’s only because I have a lot of high priced duplicates (and an unopened BR pack from 2 seasons ago) that I don’t want to sell now as they will only increase.

wasn't a great flash sale for me but I did manage to pull Realumto out of the All Star packs putting me at about 75k, bought Strasberg who was the only player I needed for Betts. I'm down to 6 players left to get (Mancini, Harper, Jansen, Morgan, Kiner, and Ryan.

I did okay on the flash sale, pulled FS Gilbert from the HL pack, and took Realmuto in the mid-round. I'm miles away from Mookie, so I picked up Larry Walker. Last year he was one of the few cards I could hit with online.
Out of curiosity, is the SS Strasburg a good option? I wonder because he goes for about 70k, which seems high for an HL card but maybe he's worth it.

I got mookie and made a bunch of stubs selling off extra cards I bought a few weeks ago when the market crashed. It was a good day.

I need to wait for the prime and sig from dailys, and I need 5 awards to finish Mookie. I have around a million stubs. Not sure what my plan is.

I'm halfway through on the vouchers but like 20% on each of the rest voucher collections. Gonna be a while for me.

I have 28 days on this game. I am not even remotely close to being able to get Mookie. Since I did the conquest early, I got a whopping 6 prospects. Can't stand conquest so highly likely I don't go through that again. Milestones alone if I took Ryan would be roughly 500k. 130k for signature if I did the Ford evo and picked Vlad. I'll just stick with Turner and Castellanos for those prices which doesn't include cards for all star, prime, prospects, future stars, monthly awards, awards and topps now. Uh, no thanks! Certainly don't mind grinding or spending some stubbs (say 300k) but after diving deep into it tonight it certainly doesn't seem worth it any time soon.
Not mad, just think that the requirements are way too steep.

Im not close at all and probably won't get there.
I have 5 vouchers locked in, but these are the easier ones, breakout, rookie, etc. Had to buy a few cards but this were only 3 to 5K in price.
I have 800K in stubs so I have a very long way to considering the collections get very expensive. -
I got Mookie and I started the day at 1,419. I had to buy a a couple milestones and a signature since I was short so that cut into it by like a considerable margin. I still finished with ~250k in profit.

My take on the collection...
If you have done the Monthly's and Topps Now collections up to this point you can finish those two voucher collections pretty easily come Thursday's release. That will allow you to skip a set.
If you haven't done the Ohtani set that could get pricy, but if you have Ohtani, just wait and don't lock in milestones.
I think one thing people aren't considering is that there could easily be another collection. IMO, you will need more cards.

I was strategically buying certain cards on dips the past couple weeks in anticipation for the collection. I had 1.7m in the bank and wound up having to spend about 500k. I had Mookie within 30 mins of release but probably should have waited as the market tanked. I didn't really expect that.
I'm still waiting for the prospects to tick upward. I did the USA map 4x so I have 90 of those cards waiting to go. -
I got mookie about 2 hours after he was released. I had to sell some of my headliners to buy the 5 milestones and 1 Awards I needed, but I knew there would likely be a headliners pack coming, so I dumped most of them for 15-25k and bought most of them back for just above quick sale value just putting in buy orders before it was released. Never thought i'd buy goose, Eddie Murray and Christy, but they've been a ton of fun, and since I was locking them in, I did the collection with Wander for the free 25k and 50k experience...and that Mookie card is amazing......

same here - one last run through the map. I'm hoping for a bounce on Saturday night on the prospects. If not then its possible they may been needed again for, as you said, TA4 or the next big collection. Who knows though....I'm not really in a rush to sell them.
This is my 2nd year playing the game. I learned a ton from '20 as well as watching YT last year. Last year I was just reckless with buying EVERYTHING and not having enough stubs at the end to buy the WS/BR rewards because I wasn't good enough to compete.
This year has been very different. I've been able to hang in events and BR. I'm still not that good but I'm working hard. Got up to 7-0 in BR before losing. I was hesitant to play ranked in the beginning because of all the server errors but it looks like that has been cleaned up. I'll probably start ranked on this next go. I got my Trout, AS Ohtani, Milestone Mo to V and a bunch at IV.

I did this map yesterday. Jeez it was a grind. Took me maybe 4-5 hours of mind numbing CPU play.
Was it worth the 120k in duplicates? Absolutely.
Now completed 8/15 for Mookie. Still about 1.5m stubs short. But I’m in no rush. Baines/Acuna at RF atm. I’ll have Vlad Snr sometime next week.
So I’ll grind towards him probably by September some time.

I did the USA map and got 6 prospects for the whole thing. That is a lot of grinding for a measly 6 prospects. So something I should have cost an extra 150-200k. Conquest is awful. I despise playing against the cpu. So boring.
