All you have to do is go to standings, ws, and check out their batting averages. There's still a good number of people that can hit, although averages aren't as high as last year. I looked for pitching rebel, and couldn't find him, although it's not like I spent a lot of time doing so. And no, I'm not one of them. The game already caters to the masses enough. With legend how it is, at least the elite get a challenge.

Ws should mean something. They already gave away ws rewards to almost anyone that is willing to spend enough time playing. All that is left is the ring and the banner, and the pitch speeds help separate the wheat from the chaff.

Good let the elite play the elite then!!! Keep it HOF until 1000 and then let the elite hit WS and make it to 1000 and they can battle it out on legend alllllllll day long and they can battle for the Top players ring or whatever it is they chase

Ws should mean something. But hof players shouldn’t be forced to play legend games due to whoever they happen to que into. To my knowledge aside from the rating restrictions queuing into a legend game after 870+ is pure luck. How is it fair that some people could make ws and never play a legend game and others could have to play multiple games on legend to make it past 900?

The “elite” would have plenty of challenge after 1000 rating or on legend after 900 if they chose to play. I don’t know of anyone who enjoys legend this year. It’s not a competitive game mode for the non-elite. It’s who can run into a fastball -
I'm a mid 800 player on last years game and a mid 700 player on this years game so far. I'm not good enough for Legend and that's ok. Not everything is made to cater to me. The idea that everyone should be able to hit Legend is ridiculous. There has to be a challenge, there has to be goals, and just because it's a challenge you can't beat or a goal you will not achieve doesn't mean it needs to be fixed.

Yes exactly!!! A lot of people including myself stop playing RS when we hit WS till the new season starts to avoid playing on Legend and it shouldn’t be that way

I just feel like and I could be wrong that most of the people defending how hard legend is don’t get close enough to have to play it… the difference between HOF and Legend is mind boggling!!

It's not a matter of how hard it is or not, it's meant for the more Elite players. If you can't hit on it (I can't so I'm not hating) then it's not meant for you. Not saying that to be disrespectful. There should always be an elite tier for every online type game. Where only the best of the best can play and challenge each other. I'll probably never hit that level on this game and that is fine.

I would say there are only like 1-200 people that can really hit legend. I think starting that at 1000 or 1100 is the way to go. Those players will still get a ton of games on legend.
That being said I think people need to be better rewarded for making 1000, 1100, 1200.
Maybe:
1000- 85-89 diamond
1100- 90-94 diamond
1200- 95+Those would be nice rewards especially at the beginning.
