I agree keep anything in any of the other games far away from MLB.
-
id like to see some sort of speed up for conquest. moving from spot to spot or taking anything that isnt a stronghold is so slow. if i start pondering the mysteries of the universe, it take to long to sim spots.

I’d like an offline seasons mode, similar to ranked where you can play 9 innings with your team, have rewards (not asking for the same as World Series, but it would be where they could release good B players)… I know they did a vlad and Ruth programs in years past, but I’d love to see this expanded… Especially for people who want to offline grind and not do conquest. Even if they did like a Ruth type program 3-4 times a year it would be fun.

I personally would love to see custom leagues get some attention. The potential of this mode is immense and very unrealized so far.
Things that would allow greater customization would be awesome. For example:
- ability to shape rosters in the mode beyond the active players, Greater flexibility for number of bench players, relievers (pitchers in general), etc
- parallels earned in game to be applicable in CL
- ability to set lineups vs R and L
- ability to customize rosters used in CL
Once you start thinking about it, the possibility for this mode is really huge.

I think a small boost for theme teams could be cool... something like +1 to every stat for 10 players from same team and +2 for 25 players. I play Madden and The Show and I.M.O. Madden has way too many boosts to be even slightly realistic. For example a guy like Jerome Bettis having 99 speed and being as fast as say Tyreek Hill is lame... totally defeats the purpose of having Tyreek Hill when almost anyone can be boosted to 99 speed. Too many boosts and you will have the same issue.
The thing I want to see the most from SDS is fixing the online play... RS and BR plays totally different than offline modes and to me that's by far the biggest issue with this game. Stuff like catchers freezing up on steals and diamond fielders botching routine plays all the time online makes it hard to get into this game enough to play straight through and skip Madden. I like online play the most and the randomness in RS games is my biggest issue. This game has so much going for it... it blows my mind that the simple things never get fixed... online play is quirky at best. -
While I’m at it, I’d really love to see the outer pci go away. It’s hard enough to understand the hit outcomes just with the inner pci. The whole outer pci thing just rationalizes bad swings getting rewarded.
The constant fouling of pitches and sparsity of K’s in lower divisions doesn’t seem to make anyone enjoy the game more.
Also. Universal pitch speeds. Please.

#3 is a big one too... a lot of people are highly against it, but that's baseball... figure out a way to make it happen. I pass on players I like because I hate not knowing if I'm facing lefty or righty and having guys that hit bronze against one or the other is no fun in team building mode.

I loved the Ruth program... gives a chance to play a regular game against God squads without playing online. Wish they would do something like that all year instead of one program late in the year. It's fun playing against all time teams offline, but not as much against LS teams.

How about being able to view stats on the cards would make team builds easier
-
Make the CAP be the actual height/weight of the person playing the game.
-
I would like for the elevation at Shippett to be removed, because it really is a pretty good stadium otherwise

Agreed. It has so much potential. Was so surprised that Leagues mode was neglected in TS21. Probably a result of having too much else on the plate but not even a couple of crumbs.
I wonder what the numbers are for league participation.

I think the only chemistry they should add is for theme teams. Maybe. Something like +1 contact and +1 control for 5 players from the same team, +1 power, +1 h/9 for 10 players from the same team, etc.
I think adding that in would be pretty cool, but as someone else says if its anything to do with Fifa, madden or 2k keep it far away from the show.

You’re on a roll - all fantastic suggestions.

*Night games in created stadiums
*A better version of "directional hitting" using "simulation" that could be played against the CPU or play vs friends. With directional, the PCI is always in
the center of the zone. Would love to see it be purely statistical to get a game that truly represents an MLB game.- A few more classic stadiums if they could get the rights to them.
*The ability to use current stadiums in the game as a base start to create a stadium so they could be edited.
*For SDS to find a way to make live series cards have more meaning. Unless you want Chipper or one of the collection items, there really is no need as so many good cards are released.
*Finally, the ability to have lineups vs LH and RH pitchers to make platoon players have greater value.

I’d be ok with the lineups vs RH and LH as long as they’re the same players from your 26 man roster.
Example would be if you have Sizemore vs a RHP, you can’t just take him out of your roster vs lefties. Worst case scenario he’s on your bench.
Nobody should ever have 9 lefties or 9 righties in their lineup. That’s far from reasonable

As a general rule, if it’s a feature on madden, FIFA or 2k. Keep it far away from mlb the show.
Lmao! SDS hire this man
-
I’d like to see a mode where you create a lineup with live series players, flashbacks, and legends from a MLB team and play head to head. Could be 3 inning games like BR, doesn’t really matter to me. It would be like a mix of online rated and diamond dynasty. For a player who played on multiple teams during their career, they would have a card for every team they played on.

Completely agree and exactly what I meant. You have your starters and 5 bench players. If one or two of those guys you want as bench players/pinch hitters you should have that option. Definately not a larger roster size.
