Which Xbox?
Same question. I started on the old console and switched to the Series X and there have been no problems with anything. Runs horribly on the older generation of Xbox, though.
Series S. Hmm weird. Do you use pinpoint pitching? Any issues with that? It was horrible for me

I played on the PS4 from 2015-2020 & switched to the Series X….Have not noticed any difference between the two. They play the same - For me anyways.
Ok well that’s good to know then. Maybe I just had a bad connection day, which would of been the first. I’ll try again tomorrow bcuz pin point pitching was just not working at all. Not sure if it was the controller or the system or what

Are you sure the box didn't say 'RBI Baseball '21?'

Been playing this on Playstation since 989 made the game. Every year I log way too many hours playing. Also played beta on PS4.
Bought the Xbox X/S version. There is absolutely no difference that stands out.

I will be provide the opposite take...first year playing, but starting at launch I have played on Series X and my son has played on PS5. At times I will do something like a daily moment for him and vice versa...I always talk about how much smoother his is and he always complains when having to do something for me on Series X. Has just seemed significantly smoother on PS5. A week ago I finally got my hands on my own PS5 and it is a huge difference. Much smoother graphics and things like pinpoint are much more consistent. The easiest way for me to notice the difference is throwing a splitter or forkball. No matter what I did on Series X I could not do it with any accuracy...but I can easily on PS5. If I were choosing it would be on PS5 without hesitation.

I switched from a PS4 to an Xbox Series S. Only issue I have is with pin point pitching, but it could be something I'm doing wrong.
I'll move the right analog stick down, but sometimes the line stops for no reason at al. -
The serious issue I have with Series S is framerate lag. Always at the wrong times. Made making WS impossible for me. I'll get a runner or two on base facing Degrom, and the guy pitching fairly fast/quick pitching - and my framerate drops through the ground. It's one thing to time 102 on Hall of Fame - it's another thing altogether to try and piece together four "screenshots" of a 102 as it stutters towards you.
All Star, the framerate drops are manageable - I'm 2x flawless. But when you're talking these premier cards, it's insufferable.
I was planning to move into a solar based RV - only reason I didn't go with the PS5 because it literally eats battery power like candy. I didn't think energy efficiency would mean game issues though, and now I'm regretting spending $500 for a system and the game, when I have a ceiling that I cannot control preventing me from World Series. I was 895 last year in just one month of Ranked Seasons. And started RS this year 23-0 before hitting Degrom for the first time in HOF. Now I'm 24-6 lol.

Guys I figured out the next gen controllers on Xbox x/s have a glitch when using pinpoint pitching. You have to use the last gen controllers for it to work. Game still has been playing pretty bad imo, not just because I’m on Xbox now but just overall in general. Taking a 2 week break from this game, was hoping for a nice gameplay patch finally but idk if that’s ever gonna happen. Was also a little disappointed with Mookie as the collection reward as well. Overall I think I’m slowly moving away from this game unfortunately. Feels like it’s gotten worse and not better, but idk maybe it’s just me

Apparently it was the new controller for the series x/s. For some reason it can’t handle pin point pitching. Switched to an older controller and it worked fine. Overall my ps5 experience with gameplay seemed smoother, idk maybe it’s just me that’s my first impressions on it
