I gave up on who should or shouldn't be diamond when they upgraded Joey gallo. I don't care how strong he is or how good a Fielder he is, he's a career .211 hitter. If he's a diamond then half the league can be argued to be gold or better.
And now he's going to be a yankee
He is having one of his best power years, 1 BB away from a career high in walks at the all-star break, above average defense, should hit double digit steals for the first time and has a real shot at setting career highs in all the counting stats. I think low diamond is acceptable. Seager is a diamond and other than BA, he is similar or better in almost all categories over the last 3. I may be bias because I had 175 Gallos when he got upgraded but to say he doesn't deserve it is not accurate.

I mean that throw the other night should give him Javy Baez defense 99 arm 1 acc but in all honestly he and yelich haven't been the same since that great MVP race a couple years back

They dont drop guys who have been good in the past that quick for one bad season. Hasnt even been a full season yet if you take 2020 and 2021 and combine them.
Jose Abreu says sup
Yeah they have been pretty quick with Abreu lol. He dont have the speed or defense to save him either.
Yea man. I would like to sit here and think they have some scientific formula for it but they probably take jelllo shots and throw darts at names
I mean it seems like anyone who has two bowel movements a day gets a 90+ card so im surprised we even have gold, silver and common cards anymore.

it makes me sick how much i paid for him months ago just so I could complete that NL west collection (he was the only one i didnt pull in that division).
Oh well

His defense will likely keep him diamond. He is still an elite defender. Kevin Kiermair was gold for 4 years and he is one of the worst hitters in the
An elite defender

In the outfield, yes

Bellinger is going to be a good test for SDS in terms of how quick and how much they'll bring a player down. At one point in this game, he was going for over 100K, it'd be nuts if he went to like an 81 or below.

Trust me he has been awful this year offensively. He is lucky to make any type of contact on the ball. 98% of the time it's not even for a hit. He is batting like .160 right now. He is our worst hitter that is starting as of right now.

I've been following him in the box-score since he returned from the IL. Obviously, you can't figure much out in terms of what is actually wrong with the player by just looking at his numbers but he has been a fascinating case-study.
I mean, how does a guy go from looking like one of the three best hitters on the planet just 2-3 years ago to this? What is wrong with him? It's probably a few things but I'm curious what Dodger fans have been able to pinpoint. Baseball is obviously a sport that comes with a lot of ups and downs, weird periods of streaky hitting followed by quiet times but I don't think what is going on with Bellinger can be chalked up as a plain old "slump." There has got to be more to it.

@Raider52Morrison Nice prediction. Have to give props.

I should have listened. I had a spare Bellinger that I did not part ways with.
