but I’m going to pull for them the rest of the year. Hope Rizzo gets his second ring and performs well with that short porch. One of my all-time favorite Cubbies.
Edit: I need to simultaneously pull for Devers due to all the cards I’ve invested in.

I agree. 4 playoff spots are already basically locked barring any huge collapse. So their best hope is for the Oakland A's not to be the Oakland A's and the Seattle Mariners to be the Seattle Mariners

It would honestly be hilarious if the Yankees still managed to miss the playoffs, there pitching is still weak behind Cole so will see if this works out for them or not, but talk about a stacked lineup.

As a Yankees fan. I always wanted rizzo. And now more excitingly. We can FINALLY trade Voit and hopefully Cashman goes out and gets a pitcher.

We could still get Scherzer, but that's a long shot. I'm getting the feeling we're going dry again this year with nothing.

As a Yankees fan I'm excited. I'm also impressed that Cashman is doing so well getting the others to pay the salaries. Frankly, not going over will allow the Yankees to go after Seager and Freeman next year and one more year of Gallo. Move DJ to 3rd trade Urshela and Torres back to 2nd where he belongs. #dreams

Yeah. Your post hit on the spot which sucks. Seattle is a really young club so odds are, they don’t make the wild card. I think Oakland doesn’t have the endurance to push through and win the wild card either. Although, I don’t see Rizzo and Gallo in New York changing their odds for the playoffs. -
