Tbh I don't think it mattered what position Gallo plays. The Yankees desperately needed a left handed hitter

Maybe with Gardener getting at a certain age, Odor is ranking in, getting another lefty would be good. But remember Yankees fans are merciless with their players, Gallo needs to keep playing his way and remain calm.
