anyone else struggle to play games at night?
-
I feel all of this so much. I'm 44 and the Creative Director for a magazine, so my face is in a computer all day long. As much as I love getting in a game while the kids are sleeping, my eyes are exhausted. I still try but its tough.

Age catching up to me more than usual it seems as my eyes are tired as fk by the time I sit down in my office chair to play
Too much looking at screens. try to take several short walks during the day, it will help ease the strain on the eyes.
this advice was given me by my optometrist several years ago, and it does helpI work in trauma medicine. Very little screen time for me actually.
Any case of : fast pitching... unrealistic sinker... Bunt cheese, random gameplay or dashboard abuse trauma lately ?!? If not I'll be there soon !
Haha nah but plenty of car crashes, stabbings/gunshots (even for Canada), industrial accidents, etc

I am fortunate enough to work from home and I get a 3 hour break middle of the day. This is my show time online. I seem to suck really bad late afternoon let alone night time wont even attempt. I am 35.

40 with terrible eyes.
Little tip: if you have a TV that offers HDI enhanced, the graphics are a lot clearer. I can see the ball really well, even at night. -
Servers/game works much better during non-peak hours. Play the game at 1 pm on a weekday and it usually plays smooth and you can read and react to the pitches. Playing at 8 central on weeknights or weekends and it is a [censored] shoot. Flip a coin as to whether you'll be able to read and react to pitches. That is my experience at least.

Two words... cornea transplant.
I find my peak vision is right after work. I work outside. After a few hours of any tv my eyes get lazy and I don’t pick up things as fast with my vision.

I’m 44 and definitely after 8pm it’s much harder for me as well to consistently pick up the ball. That’s usually when I switch to offline or just play Events and not care as much.
42 and ditto to every poster I'm here.

Just an idea, it might be the lights being used in the facility your at? When I worked at a skilled rehab center years ago my eyes were terrible after work if I tried to play. But after I stopped working there and worked on people's homes again my eyes were fine if I played after work. I know there isn't much you can do about it obviously, but at least maybe you would know what it is that is bothering your eyes! Good luck and stay safe!
talk the boss to switching out for leds

Ya I’m mid 30’s and by the time I get gone from work my eyes hate me trouble focusing and all dat. I work from home so I sit at my computer all day. I’ve used a monitor and it’s easier but not worth it for me. I’ll be slightly worse and play on tv. I am way better on weekends lol

44 and only play at night. But the catch is I am awake through most nights. Its around 6am my eyes start getting tired.

I try to get games in before 10pm EST. From my experience that's when most of the sweats are on
