Moments that require you to play multiple games and pitch multiple innings?
-
Moments are my favorite content, and I usually enjoy them more when they're tricky or take a little longer. I enjoy a challenge, so when I'm struggling I don't expect the game to dumb things down for me.
I feel like there's a depressing number of people who would be happy if they just removed all gameplay modes and replaced them with a big button that says "click here to receive free cards."

I skipped the Bieber moment, tried Clemente for 20 minutes and skipped Oswalt today. It just doesn’t seem worth it, especially since I got Sandoval. I will agree the last three have been below average but whatever, I’m not compelled to do them.

Also not a fan of having ABs during pitching moments when they don't affect the outcome.
Could not agree with this more!!!!

Can yall atleast acknowledge that you have read the comments from your player base/customers that say how sick and tired we are of moments that require you to play multiple games and pitch multiple innings?
Pitching multiple innings on rookie, while easy, is horrendously boring. Same with the hitting ones. Why do yall keep intentionally boring us with your game by putting these moments out? Not to mention the online content already requires massive amount of time. Let us focus more of our time on areas we choose instead of moments.
It's not like the moments give us any cards we will use, especially after yall just gave everyone a 99 overall team with ta3.
Again, about the Moments, what makes it really boring is it's nothing but a randomized unpredictable no-skill AI-decided yawn-fest.
If there was anything even close to skill involved it might have a little value or incentive of play. It doesn't, and the longer they stretch these cluster-lucks out the more boring and shallow they are perceived.
TBH, it's really that way with the entire game. But Moments really exemplifies the lack of depth and absorption characteristic of online play.
Pretty simple..starts with the first line of code..rewrite the game. Other companies have started from scratch. I know it's a bit intimidating and scary, but it may be worth it in the long run. Some other company is bound to come along eventually and do it right. Proactive is always your best bet. The most successful software companies have been very proactive.
HOWEVER, proactive doesn't mean all these gimmicky marketing babies like pinpoint pitching, stadium builder, Moments (the big deal from 2019), and all that other fluff.
Proactive means, if the customer base is about to mutiny because of the obvious oiliness of the blatantly scripted outcomes..rebuild it..start from scratch. Do the right thing!
My god...grow up child. Go create your own game while the adults play this one

Hey guys....10 people on a forum means that the entire fanbase will "mutiny" based on his irrational hatred of this game.
Seek mental help, you have clear anger issues

I agree with the final line that TA3 was stupid...but the free cards from moments aren't a waste just because they won't crack starting lineups. They're free cards for collections and I'll take that all day. Whitey Ford being a free Signature was great, for example.

Nope.they wouldnt be happy even then.

I used to hate moments but I have grown to like them sometimes to change up playing a full game or 3 inning game and playing famous moments

Those same people would complain about the amount of time it would take to click the button to get the card.

I honestly haven't bothered to check but I assume you'd get XP for getting hits in that scenario?
-
I still feel like moments have their place, but their place shouldn’t be 40% of every program and content release for the last 3 years. It’s boring. Very boring.
A two run comeback or solo HR walk off isn't some defining moment it’s just baseball. Striking out 8 guys is just a good outting. The Cubs getting dragggggged until Anthony Rizzo has to take the mound isn’t significant.
-
My biggest complaint about them is I’ve been sitting here for approx 1 hour on billy f’n Williams who I’ll never use at all just to get the XP and just finally said to hel l with it. Just give me another path as well as the moments for those that like them other than online. It can’t be that hard. There is nothing fun about swinging for a HR for 20 min and watching half of them get caught on the warning track before one finally goes out.
-
How is it a “moment” if it goes across multiple games.
