A homer in Forbes with Clemente? Pound salt.

I love how people come into the thread acting like its so easy. You got lucky early, some didnt. Quit pumping your chest and just be happy about succeeding
-
So I got lucky on my third try. I hit one dead center. CF dove for it. Whiffed. Relay throw into home was off line. Inside the park, just like in real life… 100% luck, 0% skill.

This Moment was ridiculous. After about 45 minutes, my family started to notice I've been doing the same thing over and over again. After an hour, my entire family knew I was trying to hit a home run with Clemente as a daily challenge. I became obsessed. I finally hit one over the wall after maybe an hour and a half or so.
-
After so many tries, I was determined to do it. Finally did it on try 95 with a perfect power swing. I scored on an inside the parker earlier but they didn’t count it, so the defense screwed up somewhere. I’m usually determined to finish all of the daily moments because that’s part of my personality.
But what I want to say to SDS is this, before every daily moment have a meeting with a few people and ask, “Is this going to possibly make someone want to break their console?” If someone answers yes, don’t make it a moment.
I love your game and you often as a company over others. When it comes to moments though, you make 2K look like the Citizen Kane of gaming companies.

61 overall power and you have to hit the out of cavernous Forbes field.
Screw whoever came up with this one.
Don’t complain too much, you’ll have people telling you how little time they did it! Watch out
-
I've avoided "just use directional" all year, but I used it after 30 minutes of balls off the top of the left field wall, took three tries before the defense let a ball roll between them for the homerun. I hit it much worse, but it's excellent when the game rewards you for taking a much easier option, motivates people to do their best.
-
So did this about 20-30 times which isn't so bad cause it's just one AB. Pretty much every other time it was a line shot that split the outfielders and one or two hopped the wall near the lightpole in right center. Every time it was a stand up triple but out at home.
Finally got one out to dead center over the CFs head, saw it go up against the wall as I rounded second. Just like the moment, only chance is an in the park hr.
-
This one is pretty bad. Homer at this park with no power and no speed. Geez
-
Don’t complain too much.
Tomorrow’s one is gonna be score a natural cycle at Shippet with Rookie Ozzie Smith
-
I hit the ball to the deepest part of the field on three separate occasions, and not once did I get remotely close to an in the park home run. Clearly SDS doesn't put much stock in their speed ratings, because 61 isn't going to do it.
For those that completed it, I salute you.
-
Yeah I dont think I can do it. 40 min now and nothing. Multiple P/P that didnt help much. One was caught at the wall in dead center. Not close on any inside the park ones. Oh well, gonna keep hammering away as I watch youtube lol.

No it isn't easy AT ALL, until you switch to directional. 2nd swing a no-doubter to left.
Some people are so thick-headed that they refuse to do what needs to be done. They act like it is some purity test that it HAS to be done with zone. Well you can do whatever you want but quit complaining when you refuse to do things easy then.

Why is everyone making this so hard? Directional, power swing while holding left stick up. Took me 2 swings after the switch.
People everywhere are having issues. The Twitter page, Facebook groups, Reddit, etc.
Some just refuse to use Directional as if it would melt their controllers or something.
I got lucky by leaving batting tutorials on.
https://youtu.be/423Xdih4fMwI've posted this link in almost every thread in this forum so it may help as many as possible.
This method is not guaranteed, as you could still be early or late.
You can get up to 2 tries if you pause right after you see your hit won't be a success. Just switch right away, to let's say Directional BEFORE the play ends. -

I use directional, still took almost an hour. It's 100% luck and you got lucky.

I want to put those stupid sds devs next to each other and put them to do this moment until every each and one of them succeed,
I bet they can’t complete this moment too -
I don't think I've ever been one to complain about Moments (feel call me out if you can find a comment that I've posted). This one was rough. Like some of you, I had the Olympics on in the background and mashed buttons. Over the half-hour it took, I hit 3 P/P's off the wall in left (power swing/zone), and was thrown out 6 or 7 times at home. Ugh. Finally hit one out. This one was pure evil.

Few observations:
- Ian Happ has 62 fielding and 49 arm; yet, a hit over his head dead center will see him bring the ball back in no time;
- Contreras can be standing still 12 feet ahead of the plate, get the ball, turn around and run to home with his catcher gear to tag Clemente who was 15 feet away running full steam and diving
- if I hit gap to gap, I get bombs in the alleys or dead center; if I try to get a bit early to try and get it over the walls down the line, at best I hit top of the wall with little authority.
- had 2 instances where I got an extra inning AB, and one where a bloop single drove in the winning run down 3 with the bases loaded, wtf lol?
- I’m at about 30 minutes now being miserable…
