What is Going on With the Home Run Derby

I believe I've been patient long enough with nearly 100 attempts at the Home Run Derby in the 2021 version of The Show. I'm literally typing this as my batter is in the finals (again) without being able to hit one pitch. The program states I wasn't able to hit any home runs. This on top of the clock literally counting down in previous rounds for over 1 1/2 minutes (at least) with no pitches. This is absolutely the WORST experience I've had with this version of the game and it's high time developers got their act together and fix the flipping problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I'm literally mad over a stupid video game not because of the game but because I threw away $100 for this game. I've played several previous versions with no problems but when this (21) version came out I could tell immediately something wasn't right with at least the Home Run Derby.
Either fix the STUPID problem or refund our money!!!!!@!!!!!!!!!@#$%#^@%#&@#^&@%#&@%&#
