Most aggravating/annoying game you've ever played?

Fighting the boar in assassins creed odyssey was rough. I tried an rpg called kingdome come and the combat was way to difficult and annoying. But yes this game is super frustrating.

I don't know why but Ninja Gaiden2 come to mind

Enemy #1: Manually putting in all the players’ names in Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball for hours only for your Nintendo system to malfunction and erase all your work.
Enemy #2: Playing for an hour on PunchOut to get to Mike Tyson and then getting pummeled in 5 seconds.
Enemy #3: Blowing on the bottom of your Nintendo cartridge that you can’t get to function and strategically trying 30 different variations of inserting your game cartridge basically the same way.

Oh, and in Double Dragon 2 when you had to jump up those stupid conveyor belts, and the jump mechanic sucked. So you’d make it all the way there and get like two lives to try to figure it out, and then you’d have to start from the beginning when you inevitably plummeted to your death.

Lego Star Wars TCS. Did you guys ever try the pod race level or the anakin vs obi wan level on mustafar?

I lost a game in extra innings recently when i struckout guy in the dirt with 2 outs an then catcher decided to throw the ball 20 feet over the first baseman head into rightfield an winning runs scored.
Shortstop throwing ball 3 feet to 2nd base an pulls him off the bag, next batter hr an lose

Any check swing game from 20 was unbearable.

This post incorrectly assumes that I care enough about wins or losses to get aggravated. If your reaction to a loss is anything more serious than shrugging and maybe having a quick laugh at yourself, then you're taking this way too seriously.
I don't waste my time getting all worked up about RNG, comeback logic or whatever silly excuse gets thrown around by people who aren't mature enough to just accept that someone was better than them at a video game. When I lose it's because my opponent outplayed me. Nothing more and nothing less.
You cared enough to post.

Battletoads
Just typing that made me gaze at the wall remembering the anger and time lost.
That game in the tunnel driving those flying cars or whatever they were was aggravating but that game was a blast. Even the pause music was great lol

With every fielder apparently being Willie Mays and Ozzie Smith, cheap AI comebacks, no control pitchers that can't throw strikes in every moment and inconsistent hitting results...it made me reminisce about my history in gaming. Battletoads, Mike Tyson final boss, Sonic Labryinth Zone and TMNT NES water stage come to mind...but this game def. takes top 5 for me now. Congrats SDS
Without a doubt, Brink was the worst.

That is a nice way to put it, yes. Those 1980’s NES games were tough. You were lucky to get a continue after you died. Then it was back to the beginning. I remember a game called Bad Dudes was also very frustrating. It also had that weird two button jump mechanic. I guess the two button jump mechanic was the Edward Cabrera sinker of my childhood.
