Goodbye Blue Jays
-
The Jays are headed back to their hometown after playing their home games the last two months in Buffalo. I’ve been to more major league games this year than I’ve ever been to. It’s been a great experience and I thank the jays and their organization. Seeing the team up close I’ve been very impressed. It’s just so hard to say goodbye!!!!

I drove by there on my way to Fort Niagara 2 weeks ago. I guess I didn't realize the Jays were playing there, or that I would be passing it on my trip. Pretty cool the local fans there got the chance to see big league games.

It’s awesome. I’m not from Buffalo originally. This is my first year living in the city. So this was a nice treat. I’ve been in western NY my whole life. So taking a train 6 hours into NYC Is usually how I get to see a game or traveling up to Toronto.
IDK if any of you have been to Toronto for a game but it’s kind of embarrassing. The crowd is usually split and they don’t really sell a ton of tickets. I felt more crowd excitement from fans in Buffalo than in Toronto. The stadium had good energy for only holding about 12k.
I physically saw the change in people in Buffalo. The first game I went to barely anyone was wearing Jays gear. I’d say 25% of the fans were wearing Buffalo Bills gear. At a ball game? . That was end of May. So the last games I went to was this past weekend. Major Jays support. Probably 70% jays gear being worn by fans.huge crowd noise for any positive Jays play.
