Selling a truckload of bronzes for overinflated prices finally got me Chipper (Trout)…

I can finally concentrate on anything else based on what I want. Phew…

Selling bronzes has to be the most tedious way you could possibly make stubs though. I flip golds and even that is pretty mind numbing lol.

It’s free money, and so easy to do. You do your method and we will do ours.

Not sure how doing doing TA exchanges causes inflation. Once you exchange the card is no longer available. That is not what leads to inflation. Stub sales lead to market inflation not exchanges.

Not sure if inflation was the right word here, but prices do go up due to TA exchanges. When you exchange cards they disappear which means there are less cards on the market, so the prices of the remaining cards go up.

I only exchange golds because I'm way too impatient to buy 1000 bronzes to do exchanges. There are a lot of 82-83 golds that can be bought for 1000-1005 and resold immediately for 1400-1600... might be more lucrative and less work to flip those than bronze.

If you wanna DM me I'll give you a few tips on how i make my stubs. Honestly, you're wasting alot of time flipping for such low margins. And I only say that bc I did it for a couple years. Not worth your time.

Prices tend to jump when there are few to no buy orders out on a card which is fairly common with bronze cards and commons as people don’t tend to invest in these cards. You’ll actually find that bronze and commons have the best return on investment because of this as people don’t want to waste time flipping these cards do to the relative value of the card. If you have time and patience this tier of card will almost always payoff especially if they are going from the free agent market to a teams 40 man roster.

To be clear, I was about 30k away and I don’t flip because it’s boring and don’t have this kind of time. I sold everything I could, and decided to take a look at commons and bronzes to see if I had any that was selling at a stupidly high price because of roster updates/rarity. I saw that a lot of bronzes, not only the 74s, were going for 300+. 30 minutes later, I had pocketed that 30k for Trout.

Figured people were trying to get 73-74 bronzes to do the TA3 exchanges, and maybe part of it is people buying less packs since LS is completed or close to by a big portion of the base. Mostly free packs being opened, less bundles being bought. Whatever the reason, I’m done with it… I can stop nickel and diming everything
