Do you think Equipment or Unlockables will ever be needed for a Player reward of any kind?

I can't remember them ever being required.

As far as I know they haven't been required for player rewards before but I haven't been playing DD for super long. I used to be mainly a RTTS and franchise guy

They had the equipment collections for players up until 18. But they were so unanimously hated that they removed them

Also, on the "Collections" tab, what do you see under the "Complete Collections To Earn Rewards" banner?

I don't think so, with that being said now that I have all the players i will start to go after all the equipment just in case.

I always get all the equipment eventually because I'm that much of an obsessive completionist, so it makes no difference to me whether it's required or not. I'm good either way.
